Cult of the Lamb - All Endings + Rewards - Sacrifice, spare or murder?

All three endings you can get in Cult of the Lamb, depending on your choice at the end of the game. Choosing to sacrifice yourself will delete the save file, you'll have to start over from the begining if you want to keep playing. Sparing The One Who Waits will unlock him as a follower, you can keep playing afterwards for as long as you like. Murdering him will unlock a new decoration, a statue of The One Who Waits. You can keep playing for as long as you like when you make this choice aswell.

Update for those who kill The One Who Waits: In the Relics of the Old Faith update, the new unamed character (???) revives him back & gives him to you as a follower. The only difference is he doesn't have the immortality trait

I wanted to see what happened so I chose to sacrifice the Lamb the first time. It did not delete my save data like you said it would and I was able to load my save and fight The One Who Waits. I really like the statue you get if you kill him but killing him seems like the evil choice. Also having an immortal follower is just cool.

the new update: allow us to introduce ourselves (if you beat the entire post-game content the update brings after beating the game, you will get the thing you didn't get; the follower form if you didn't spare the one who waits, or the statue if you did. that way, you can have both at the same time. you're welcome.) edit: updated to say "update" and not "dlc" because Relics of the Old Faith is not a DLC

It's locked, you have to make a choice, either kill him and get the decoration item, or spare his life and get him as a follower

@@alperenakdas3479 i think you mean update instead of dlc. After beating Relics of the Old Faith and indoctrinating Leshy, Heket, Kallamar & Shamura into your Cult as Followers, ??? (or whatever you named him) will give you either the The One Who Waits Trophy if you spared him, or The One Who Waits himself if you murdered him.

So sad that this game has no end-game content at all. Finished it on 8 hours lol. Lets hope the devs add actual content to it instead keep filling it with childish useless decorations.
