Regal being there for however long it was was absolutely better than nothing. He created a legacy and memories for us to look back on in the AEW World and it was definitely needed. In the end, if vince never released him he would have still been in wwe and we would have never gotten all these moments with him in AEW.

Nah bud, he was underutilized and added nothing, not his fault, TK doesn’t have the smarts to use him. The best thing Regal gave aew was that promo with MJF and that’s it, not his fault though, all Booker of the Years ingenuous- I mean ingenious booking😂

As far as Bryan putting over guys in smaller promotions, I remember seeing him in ECCW Pacific Cup 2005, was expected to kill it and lost in the finals to the local guy in an amazing match. Aaron Idol was like 85% blind, so being able to work with him after a tournament night, and have that respect that he changed the finish and put Idol over, absolute class!

I think is hard to say. On the one hand, BCC got over, every member won various titles. On the other hand, most of them are from ROH and are hardly of value, and he was in AEW for only a few months, tough to leave a lasting legacy.

I don’t know how to look at Regal’s run because it seemed to cause or at least coincide with Danielson’s decline. He was a top main event heel and now he’s just not. Overall I think he’ll go down as another great thing that AEW had and didn’t make the most of. I will say that if this was TNA in 2006 who signed an ex WWE talent only to lose him in or around a championship main event story, there would be harsh criticism so the same energy should be kept for AEW

Probably the most successful run I've witnessed; Came in with excitement, formed a badass stable, brought a mid-card, fairly unknown talent up to Main Event level. _with no real hiccups or faults along the way._ Ended on a memorable turn. Didn't overstay, didn't stay for a cup of coffee. Perfect length of time. I have no issues. 👌
