In "The Godfather," Jack, Virgil Sollozzo wasn't Turkish. He is Sicilian. In the novel (which is a great read, there is SO MUCH stuff in there that got left out of the movie) it's explained that he's called "The Turk" because his nose is hooked like a Turkish scimitar. Also, "young Turk" is a term used to describe someone who is aggressively trying to change how things work, much like how Sollozzo was trying to get the families to move away from their "no drugs" mentality.

I feel like the laptop thing Jack REFUSES TO DO has turned into something that it never needed to be.
