Like Sami said it was bittersweet but I think it really was for the best from a storytelling perspective. He pinned him but there was no official. So he gets that baby face empathy, Reigns gets a cheap victory and shows weakness. His bloodline continues to disintegrate and he is set up perfectly to finally drop the title.
