2005 was a nostalgic year, Batista & Cena both became huge stars after WM 21, They go on there and have legendary carrers. Although it sucked that Eddie passed away. It still hits me even after many years, But other than that, 2005 was an incredible year.

A morbid fact Chris Candido passed away a day before my 21st birthday that year. I did a wrestling tryout the day after and I had “no gimmicks” on my wrist tape to honor him. I didn’t make it as a wrestler but I was moved to production. Yes, I did celebrated his life after the show.

Eddies death until today is sad and a tragic. R.I.P Legend. It's the only really dark Situation in 2005. Otherwise: 2005 was AMAZING. A great Royal Rumble, with the best Botch of all Time. A amazing Wrestlemania 21. John Cena and Batista became Stars, the Draft, ECW One Night Stand, WWE Homecoming. Amazing fun feuds like: Batista vs. Triple H, John Cena vs. JBL, Undertaker vs. Randy Orton, Hogan vs. Shawn Michaels, Eddie Guerreiro vs. Rey Mysterio, Raw vs. Smackdown. Amazing Matches: Kurt Angle vs. Shawn Michaels. 3 Times, but especially at Wrestlemania, Batista vs. Triple H in Hell in a Cell, Undertaker vs. Randy Orton Hell in a Cell, Smackdown vs. Raw at Survivor Series 2005. John Cena vs. JBL I quit Match. I could count so many more. 05 was really magic. 9.5/10. If Eddie would not happend, it would have been a 10/10 Year. Would have been maybe the best in WWE History? Nothing that they produced this Year was really awful. Can't remember anything awful.

2005 was a very good year me because I went to see WWE twice with my family & we got to see Eddie Guerrero up close and personal. Triple H, Batista, Rey Mysterio, John Cena, Kurt Angle, Kane, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, JBL, Big Show, Chris Benoit and the biggest name on the card Stone Cold Steve Austin. After watching several of these yearly Timeline videos I’ve noticed AJ Styles has wrestled Christopher Daniels more times than I can count and it’s also the most featured match over these Timeline videos. I just wish I had marked all the matches featured (and that’s not including all the matches not brought up in these videos like house shows, non title matches and non PPV matches)
@nichhodge85036 ай бұрын
37:25 I know it’s pro wrestling but with the rise of UFC/MMA people know that Samoa Joe couldn’t choke anyone out with his rear naked choke if his opponent’s head is turned to the side (like in this shot). The head has to be facing forward and the arm has to be under the chin, it’s like with an arm bar unless your opponent’s thumb is pointing up you will never get them to tap. Maybe the arm bar is an easier one to get away with but as for the rear naked choke at least have the face pointing forward
