Ok God I hear you in this message! You are the third person I’ve heard this month talking about how to be feminine and carry ourselves as women. I am guilty of the baseball hat and hoodies😅 Thank you for sharing

I'm 67, mother of two and grandmother of four, and I still put my utmost into my homemaking. I also recently ditched the wardrobe that was making this older body look like Spongebob Squarepants. Not feminine at all. Made me miserable. But I finally hit upon going vintage 1950's, the decade in which I was born. Those fashions were feminine and modest, and the iconic 1950's housewife displayed many of the qualities discussed by you in this video, Janae. I really love these little visits with you. You do an excellent job, and are very eloquent in making your points. Bless you.

Hi June, wow your kind and sincere words mean so much to me, thank you 🤍 & thank you for sharing! I absolutely love this! I’m so glad you ditched the clothing that was doing nothing for you and went for more feminine clothing 🫶🏽 it’s funny how the “1950s” tradwife clothing is currently a ‘trend’ but like you said it’s just they dressed very feminine back then then somewhere along the lines many moved away from it but we’re finding our way back in a sense to that way of dressing and I love it 🩷

Hi, I thank you for your video today and I am so happy about how you said whether you are or are not married. I really appreciate that because I noticed that a lot of homemaker videos are mainly geared towards the wife and not just you know mother or mother that wants to be as much as a homemaker as she can possibly be even though she is single so thank you for that.

Janae, I have been trying to convert my wardrobe over to natural fabrics as well. I have several linen pieces and I love wearing them in the hot humid climate we live in! What a lovely video today! ❤

Feminity is just being myself and not trying to be like anyone else. I don't wear makeup and I feel most comfortable in sweats. I do dress modestly.

I feel like a cross dressing bodybuilder when I wear a dress, unfortunately. I think they are so beautiful on but I just don’t think they work with my body type and current weight. I am definitely working on being in ceiling more feminine, though! This was a good lesson.
@ahomemakersnotebook14 сағат бұрын
@@Sammiejammie521 that’s no problem, everyone is unique and made differently and you should feel good in what you wear. You can still be feminine without wearing dresses 😊 so glad you enjoyed the video 🫶🏽🤍

Beautiful. I have a better understanding of femininity and modesty now. I personally stopped wearing earings cause I feel like it makes me look "prettier" "makes my eyes pop" and in fact God made me naturally beautiful cause his works are wonderful. In a way, I felt like wearing earings was something that made me feel like without it I wouldn't be as attractive and that's just not true. I'm a creation of God, and leaning towards objects for beauty felt like saying how he made me wasn't enough. I still wear necklaces though. There's nothing wrong with earings obviously but I've grown use to not wearing them anymore ❤. Glory to God for his guidance in our life.

@@YouHaveMyHeartLord Wow I love this & I love your obedience!!!!!! I used to be obsessed with eyelash extensions & nails a year ago, I felt ugly without them & the Lord told me to stop, so I did. And Praise God now I don’t feel that way. We’re beautiful naturally because we’re made in HIS image🤍. Like you mentioned, nothing wrong with that stuff- it was our heart towards them at the time. We’re delivered and set free from that in Jesus name. So happy for you sis!!!!!

@@alojailine I LOVE this for you 🥹👏🏽👏🏽 I struggled for YEARS wanting to get both of those things - it would come and go in seasons - I would see all these girls who had them (esp. the eyelash extensions) and I would be like wow they look so much better without makeup on simply because their eyelashes are popping - and i know it’s fake but still maybe I should get that too to look better - effortlessly - but the Lord really kept me from getting them and I’m so thankful because I know I didn’t want them for me, I only wanted them because it seemed everyone else had them and it instantly elevated their look. But the fact is, God made me without those long eyelashes and if I can’t be okay in my skin without them I do not need to be getting them. Once I truly understood and realized and understood my worth comes from the Lord and not from men, everything changed ❤️
