This song is really important to me. It got me through junior year of highschool. I'd always listen to this song and think about my crush who I could never have as my own boyfriend, ever, and it helped me cope with all the trauma that I had to deal with after school and often even in school. I've never heard such a happier song in my life and it always made me feel less lonely. It was my best friend for a bit. When I first heard this song, I felt happiness for the first time in my life. I never usually comment on videos, but, if anyone is reading this comment, please do yourself a favor and invest your time in this band. “Always Forever” was the first song I ever heard from Cults from the movie Tragedy Girls and there was something about the sound that I hadn’t really heard before that point. After the credits rolled I looked up this song and listened to it again and again until i decided to check out the rest of the bands songs and they instantly became my favorite band. Cults, Static, Offering and Host are now staple albums anytime I enter the car or want to listen to music or even go to sleep and I can honestly say that my life wouldn’t be the same without this music. Cults also got me through the hardest time of my life, I was engaged to be married 4 years ago and the marriage fell through and my fiancé at the time broke my heart but I just couldn’t stop going back to her. At the same time my grandmother died from cancer and I was just sad all the time. It wasn’t until after I discovered Cults that I began to smile again and think to myself that I deserved better from a partner and I directly attribute songs like “Never Saw the Point” and “We’ve Got It” to be the driving force in me finally telling my ex to get out of my life. Ever since I got rid of my ex my life has started to get better, I got a better job, I fell in love again, and life is just good again. It took a lot to finally make the step that I had to take in order to heal and recover and it was Cults music that drove me the entire time. I doubt that anyone will see or even read this long comment but I just want to say thank you to Madeline Follin and Brian Oblivion for their music and for honestly helping change my life whether they knew it or not, they did make a difference in at least one fans life.

We talked about every topic we could think of. After that we met for several times. However I noticed that I fell for an idea I had of him and not for his actual character. He’s a bit childish and still needs to develop. I don’t mean that in a negative way. I came home from one date and almost dehydrated cause he didn’t have anything to drink in his dorm. The morning after he dumped me via insta dm. I cried for two hours but since he offered friendship I’m totally fine with that! I once asked him why he didn’t tell me the truth from face to face and he said that he was scared. He didn’t want me to leave. He actually spoke with his friends and his mum about me cause he didn’t know how to cope with the situation. So cute! 🥺🥺 We still watch movies together! He suffers from OCD so he’s glad that I’m there to explain certain movies to him since he tends to spend hours online searching for interpretations. Even though it was my biggest fear to be dumped, I don’t regret texting him and asking for a date. Now I’ve won someone who really cares about me, but not in a romantic way. Leaving my comfort zone was definitely worth it! 😊

I remember listening to the song “abducted” by cults for the first time around 7 years ago. I was like 8-9 years old. I’m the typical loner who used to and still gets bullied a lot which basically means that I’ve never had many friends. When I heard abducted for the first time it gave me such a warm, comforting and nostalgic feeling. It was something I’ve never experienced before. Your songs were like friends to me and they still are because I just relate to most of the lyrics. I struggle a lot with my mental health but then I remember your music exists and I just listen to it since it gives me so much comfort. I cannot find the right words to describe how much I love your music. It doesn’t matter how bad my mental health or life gets because your music never failed to brighten up my mood :) I wish I could experience that specific feeling when I first heard your songs again or to have deeptalk about life with someone in the middle of the night while your songs play :)

what a bittersweet song for me truly. listened to it the first time during quarantine when i was 12 and never stopped listening to it since then. this song has been through different relationships in the past 4 years and every time a new start begins, this song is always on repeat. love this song so much because it brings nostalgia of a 7th grade version of me to a current junior in high school. static and self titled album will always have a special place in my heart 🩷.

Everyone is talking about how happy this song is. For me its not. Its what I listened to when I went on one of our first dates with my first love.
