I’m American and grew up in Iowa. We always brought treats to school for our birthdays. Usually it was something our moms baked, like cake, cupcakes, brownies, or cookies. By the time I had kids, you could only bring pre-packaged food items, and the items couldn’t contain nuts.

I remember as a small child we used to bring Cake or Cupcakes and Candy to school on our birthdays to celebrate with classmates. It was about the 1980's when that changed and we couldn't bring treats anymore.

Kid's birthday parties in old times were a open house party with delicacies and drinks. Nowadays the kids celebrate their birthday in malls restaurants and the old tradition is gone . Thanks for sharing. ❤🙏🌞🌺🌻🌲⛄️❣️☃️ Wishing your family a peaceful happy christmas season with God's blessings.❤🙏🌞🌲🌻🌺

It is not difficult to find out who is more agressiv in this world. Which country is famous for the huge number of colonies it had around the world? UK. Which country started all the wars around the world after 1945 like Vietnam, Laos, Lorea, Panama, Afghanistan, Iraq, Yugoslavia, Syria etc? Which country has 800 military bases around the world? More than any other country. Which country has the biggest military budget in the world? USA

@@Ruth-xr2dz Of course< you are not. Because americans are being brainwashed on daily basis by their media. You government tell you that "you are helping" other countries, but in reality you just destroy them, you rob them and you kill them to make sure you are thriving and having beautiful life.

Joseph, your videos, unfortunately, give a superficial idea of Russian culture. They focus on restaurants, streets and hotels, that is, the external side of life. At the same time, they passed by Russian culture, they have no desire to understand it. As a result, you do not see the differences between Russian people and Westernized Russians, people like your friend, the deputy, who is most understandable to you, since he is a populist alien to Russian culture, diligently copying American customs and methods. You have the opportunity to learn and talk about the life of ordinary Russian people, such as, for example, your friend Pavel. The most informative of your videos in terms of showing Russian people is your trip to Gagarin's grave and to the ecological village. But you returned to the topic of restaurants, elite receptions and hotels, passing by Russian culture and the Russian population, and now you are discussing cultural differences. To do this, you need to know them, and you know the differences in restaurants and how a Russian waiter differs from an American one, and you think that this is enough to determine cultural differences.

I agree. in the 70's and 80's I lived for a period of month to half a year in a row together WITH russian, ukrainian poeple in the former USSR. We shared everything on a dayly base, even when I lived a little mor comfartably in a "hotel". I visited the soviet hospital for medical aid like russinas did, I went to the sovjet magazines /shops), the sovjet, buistros, the subway, the life on the streets, sovjet artist in museums, theatre and so forth. I lived WITH the native population. Of course som e private events happened (filled with much 100 gram of Vodka I could not stand for more than one). THAT experience I made convinced, no officials or propaganda involved, RUSSIA has NEVER ever been an enemie of any human on earth. Write that on stones. To me thats true as long one does not insisted on fighting Russia, no matter they had a Zar, Lenin, Stalin, Chrustschov, Brewshnev, USSR and so forth. MAKE PEACE in you minds first. Than EVERYBODY can live in peace with russians.

That Zhukov statue (at 6:45) is one of the ugliest statues that I've ever seen! It is pretty bad even by Moscow standards! The sculptor had no idea how a horse looks like: it's like these dark ages pictures elephants and lions! The two closest competitors are two statues for Peter the Great: one in Moscow by Zurab Tsereteli and another one in St. Petersburg by Mikhail Shimiakin.

@@Sergey_BezhentsevThe devil, as usual, is in the details. In Russia, there is a so-called "northern model" of alcohol consumption - strong drinks, large doses. There is also a high share of counterfeit drinks, made from technical alcohols - that is why the annual death rate from poisoning and other alcohol-related causes is about 50.000 people a year and is not falling.
