@YourEternalSoul666 There needs to be further subdivisions I reckon. Millenials shouldn't equate to those born on the brink of Gen X. The younger millenials really are clueless.

Please go into a nursing home and do one about the Silent Generation
@gauvaindf
@gauvaindf Жыл бұрын
Not really silent, because in the aging population of many countries they are the majority who put in power politicians who are only there to please this aging population and their economic interest, guided by the media which belong to old billionaires selling weapons of war and who do not pay taxes. But the idea is interesting

Same here. :-) When he got to boomers, I wondered how far back he'd want to go. After the final one [whichever that is] I think I'll also want to watch all his generational observations in reverse order -- eg, hear about the generations in the same order they were born in.

Loved the product placement, loved the perfectly timed sponsorship plug, loved the commentary. :-) I think the pandemic and its attendant isolation drove the rise of podcasts into mainstream consciousness, but now that popularity has plateaued, and the market is saturated. Didn't get into podcasts until 2022 I think, but by late 2020 I was gravitating more and more toward KZbin channels that were just some dude talking in depth about an interesting subject. In isolatuon, it was good to hear a human voice. That same isolation probably drove a lot of podcasters to start podcasting too [although now it's much more commercial]. Namaste, btw. 🙏

Honestly one of the smartest, most revealingest gestalt tactics analysts ever in the whole of the modern age invariant Earth Shattering Woild! Anywhere! And we’re all wound up to hear more of his dire but pleasingly predictable reasons for asking about this single featured phenomena, and that’s bcuz we all just want to settle a grand uprising of Johnny come later and later than usual, but earlier than we’d like to think, scores.

I've seen TTRPG (D&D if you want an audience of more than 5 people) liveplay podcasts create a different sort of straight white male. The inherent humiliation of doing improv theatre keeps the live play podcaster from gaining a sense of self-importance. Their acting skills, while not bad, are often hampered by a complete lack of confidence or a tendency to get distracted by ambiguous game rules, which they can spend up to 50% of the episode arguing about. They're rarely sponsored, opting to "do it for the art" until they gain an offering from a novelty dice company or community supplement book that probably lifted their ideas from a World of Warcraft expansion or a movie that was popular in the 2000s.
