A couple of years ago, I met a Spanish couple that were here as tourists. I said, it's sad to have a holiday here, in the rain. I was surprised, when they answered, that they loved the rain. It was extremely warm in Spain, so two rainy days here was a liberation. Then the train arrived.

you are so sweet and you are right there is much beauty in different cultures, it's one of the best tings of travelling I have been to Lisbon and Madeira both wonderful places very lush nature, great climate, wonderful food and people

I understand! However, I can't choose like you, hahaha. I love Denmark in the winter with all the Christmas markets and snow!!! And in the summer, Portugal, with the amazing beaches we have and the wonderful landscapes at sunset in the summer. :)
