culture before suffers

an illustration of ritual in Indonesia, people struggle to get tumpeng rice, the poors, the richest (i think rich people didn't do this kind of struggle..lol), they combined the religion teaching and their cultural ritual.
which one will win over the other? which one will be erased by time? cultural ritual or the teaching of the religion? who will still do these ritual in the modern days??
