Actually..George didn't come out in the beginning. He at first didn't talk about his sexuality..even though he looked like a girl. Then he would make jokes about it..such as saying he preferred a cup of tea to having sex. Then he said he was bi-sexual. And finally..while hooked on drugs..and mad at Jon..he told the world they were lovers. Back then you still had to worry about homophobia and violence..as George was once kicked in the face on a public bus just because of the way he looked. Thank goodness things have gotten better in many respects.

I'm glad they are able to work together again. Jon isn't "out" enough, Not that he has to be! You don't have a 4 year relationship with someone and claim you where curious. Which is what I believe a lot of ppl think he was doing, I don't! The 1st year should have answered more then a few questions, if that long was needed! On the flip side of that however, I think if I was constantly worried about my partner having more interest in the opposite gender, which I think WAS a problem for George, it would drive me mad. George did go mad, which I get! Just sad it took him so long to climb out after the mess it made. They are both happier and healthier.
