My schools culture day was so bad, we had to pay £2 to even eat the food that was provided and we couldn’t dress p. They also did not prepare for the amount of people that was coming, people had brought 2-3 containers and that was it. By time the first 20-30 people came there was nothing left, this is considering the fact 200 people had paid to go to the event and left with nothing. We are doing another culture day in July, so hopefully it turns as good.

Am also am Indian and I am also going to start school here in the Uk and I have heard most of them are bullies but am not scared of tht cuz I know who I am and I will stand up for myself the only thing is it’s hard for me to understand their slang . But tht will be alr I guess 😅

i wished my school did actually celebrations/performances like yours 😭 my school treats culture day as if it’s a normal non-uniform day and force us to do school work, and the performances/showcases aren’t even during the school day and are usually done in the evening, and they make us pay in order to see the showcase so barely anyone actually attends them. This year they didn’t even let us use our phones to take pictures or do catwalks 😒
