Idc if yall say its lame, i think its not their best work too but i kinda have a "problem" with reactors that react on the spot and tell their opinions right after they hear the album. Fantano is a good example of what ppl should do, he reviews albums days after the release which gives him time to let the album grow on him. I thought this album had 2 good songs when i first heard it, now a day later, i think theres 7. Thats why yall should let it grow naturally. Most of the times the first impressions are false and will change with time. Hope yall see my comment.

True, there’s so much context in the lyrics that separates them from regular bars Ex. “She had it her way, now she out of a Bentley” is quavo talking about how he actually got saweetie’s Bentley repossessed after they broke up. They probably don’t understand the sports references either: “Load up the bases, now I feel like Cal Ripken” “Left hand shot from the top like Fisher” (Derek Fisher) And that’s just what I remember off the top of my head. It’s just mainstream rap so there’s not gonna be any mind blowing lyricism, but it’s still great for what it is.
