We went to New Zealand and I must say that our life in India was very fast paced and the demand and supply of services and business is huge in India while in New Zealand, life is very slow in terms of public transport, medical facilities, even education is very slow in schools, businesses in New Zealand are very limited with low demand and supply and the country is expensive too. For us we were earning good here and we were earning similar money there but our savings were nil because of high cost of living in New Zealand. So it's individual choice what they want out of life and I would suggest that pls don't wait till retirement to return to India as there is no charm left in life in old age. If you wanna live your life then live it now.

Totally agree as one should decide coming back at right age to India to enjoy things which he/she always wanted

And talking about the corruption, I can say that it's present in all countries at different scales. In New Zealand AEWV work visa program, employers have took 25 lac or above from each person to help them get a job and have duped thousands of them but government is very lenient on this and not of help to many. Even the burglaries and disputes are easily visible in New Zealand too but police and government is mute on this. We live in India and we have seen almost all flaws here so we are always ranting about the same. On Healthcare perspective, I live in Delhi and the government hospitals have improved a lot and care and facilities are much more efficient nowadays and talking about education, my son got admission in mid session in a good school near my home. So to adjust in any place we have to re prioritise our choices and look for positive things in life and surroundings.

People, Dust, weather, rules are difficult to understand and agree. So you need patience and understanding. Apparent Bending of rules , money making life smooth for govt permission or approvals may have to be accepted. Road safety and road cleanliness , garbage littering there may be a nuisance . Job and business doing may be a little difficult School admissins are another challenge.

People who expects as good as US or Europe India to be it is better they stay back where they are comfortable than coming to Bharath. They can live there as economic refugees and be second class citizens than complaing about the life in Bharath.

There's nothing wrong with hoping and striving to be better...unless the aim is to be a "developing" nation in perpetuity.
