Lived in the Gulf Countries for close to 40 years and Islam is the minority and not the majority. no one cares as its crime free and epic. no Palestinians flags and all that nonsense. free happy and love. The beautiful villas are put up by rich locals for there families. The beautiful Compounds are for rich western and Lebanese expats. We don't look for our homes there provided within our contract negotiated by our employer in UK or wherever. Don't ever come to the Gulf without a expat contract, you will be slave. My Contract from FedEx UK was 10 k a month for Saudi and 8 k a month for Oman. House car school fees on top. Everything paid for by FedEx. You cant live like a local in the Gulf. even the Air hostesses are on all in Contracts includes accommodation everything. You need to have a skill that your employer in the UK can exploit in there branch in Oman. You know that Pakistani and Bangladeshi are at the bottom of the cast system unless there employer is based in there country of origin. No expat can have a contract valid for more then 2 years! but can be renewable if re-negotiation works out. . I negotiated 4 months holiday per year. Finding a job locally will not work out you wont earn more then 500 OMR month. I pay my ethnic South East Asian staff 1000 gbp a month. White Europeans and Americans 7 to 8K huge. Europe we have so many immigrants as there slave labor in the Gulf and in there home countries. Asian Muslims seem only to remember why there in the UK when they move out. Welcome to the world buddy. Indian or Pakistani get 100 OMR a month and Filipinos 220 OMR a month its a cast system. British Pakistani will be considered by the Arabs as not being British. Yah bro its not Europe for sure. You will discover the Pakistanis, Indians and Africans will be asking you to help them get to England to escape poverty. Filipinos wont they want to go to USA.

I work as a trainee actuary (similar to accounting) and when I qualify, am desperate to move to the Gulf with Oman an option. I say 'when I qualify' because the demand is so tough, as a trainee I haven't got much chance of breaking through yet. Jobs are few and far between though even then, and I've heard many say direct applications are useless as the employers don't get back to you in the Gulf. Any advice would be golden :)

As Salaam Walaikum, Mash Allah brother world of a difference from kuffar country - better then then the UK anyday (as you just don't want to deal with non muslims anymore or a 9 to 5 prison/ grind crap or problems in a kufr country or thelr wars anymore). Do they give permanent visa residency in the Oman or do you have to renew?? Do talk about the visa options amd house prices. As Malaysia does not give permanent residency visa - another good country option for hijra. As the landscape of the Oman /UAE the desert can get to you... no greenery although, I personally think Sharjah /UAE is also a good option and more Islamic. Do show us the healthcare, schools and the Pakistani community their and the beaches their! Also any parks?? Also is there Amazon in Oman - needed for business purposes. Plus can you show us the MASJIDS and the Islamic centres their inshallah - and any Islamic schools?? So when your British passport runs out do you go back to the UK to renew - or do they can they send the new passport to Oman direct- if you don't want to go/ come back to the UK? I take it you keep your British passport nationality?? I personally do not mind taking on their nationality passport once settled couple of years - as even Malaysia has a strong passport. I personally don't want to ever return to the UK just leave it for good inshallah, now that I have found out the truth about it (just wish was I born in a Muslim country!) as I don't see a future their - not for muslims anyways. I will even return back to Pakistan if I have to! Plus, I do not want my future children to have a British passport and their is a reason for this - Mash Allah show us more though about Oman. #makehijratoamuslimcountryfasttrack#

These are the kinds of problems you want in life. Since you mentioned that you don't like not paying people back, I'm curious if you've sprung the "let's meet up sometime" on someone else. If everyone's inviting you out and you feel like you need to respond in kind, it seems like the natural conclusion to invite some other people out and show them just as much hospitality.
