Um gonna try my best to summarize. The singer is saying........ When I remember Mmapula,a certain woman who went through hardships. This woman was rejected (from the looks of it she was chased from the family she was married at) So she embarked on a journey to go back to her home. She walked through the desert 🏜 and along the way she met many challenges. She was almost kidnapped and killed by people who kill and use people's parts as traditional medicine or lucky charms ( where she was running away from that vehicle in the video) Through all these challenges people refused to help her when she knocked on their doors(she felt like she was carrying some dark energy around her or bad luck) . So she was wondering who would help her and she kept wondering until someone actually helped her (what we see at the end of the vid) I hope that helped

Lawrence Qwabe. Ha ke gopola Mmapula mosadi yo o boneng metlholo le leseana la gagwe -I recall of a lady by the name Mmapula and her little son. bale mo sekakeng x3 Iyo mo sekakeng x2 -the two went through devastating challenges. Chorus Iyo Mmapula mosadi yo o boneng metlholo Iyo Mmapula mosadi wa mmona dilo *2 -they were deserted and without any help A leka ka bojotlhe go leba ko gae - She tried her best to go back home Lefatshe la mo tlhanogela -the universe was against her Ga nna go ntsho -it became dark A kopana le borathipana ko masimong a lephane -she met murderers as she wondered in the wild by the lands called Lephane. A tlola melapo le dinoka tse dikgolo -She crossed small rivers and big ones Chorus Iyo Mmapula mosadi yo boneng metlholo Iyo Mmapula mosadi wa mmona dilo *x2 -I already translated this one. Ga tlhaga mmadiphokoje a tsubutla ka di phefo. Go sena le le phatsimang Go se ngwedi e e tlhatsitseng -Tswana figure(s) of speech and proverbs to intensify the hardship. All odds were against her. Chorus A nelwa ke pula ene a nelwa ke pula *3 -the heavy rains descended and poured on them A khubama a rapela - She knelt and prayed A bitsa leina la Morena -called the name of the Lord Are Eli Eli ya masabakata Ene o leka nna -she asked why she was being tried that much magareng ga Meleko -why her (Mmapula) magareng ga metlholo. -Amongst all the troubles in the world why is she facing the ones she is facing. Bogareng ga dikotsi -so many other challenges like road accidents but why is she facing the one she is facing. (her prayer was a sad prayer) Ke mo khutsafalong I am in deep pain Mosadi wa pelo ke mang a ntshalele le ngwana -who is that good hearted woman who could look after my kid for me. Ke sa ya go rapela -I want to get in serious prayer Ke kopela tshwarelo -To ask for forgiveness Morena ke wena fela e mpa batho ga ba tsebe -Lord you are one and only, but people don't know, they don't listen. Ba latlhegetswe ke tsela - they are lost Ba kgerisitswe ke sebe -they are subject to sin Chorus Iyo Mmapula mosadi yo o boneng metlholo Iyo Mmapula mosadi wa mmona dilo -already translated. It's not only a song, but also a prayer😭🙏. May God bless Africa and its children. The comment is from SA, sister to Botswana.

Dad, all I have is a feeling I get when i listen to what we used to listen to together. I couldn't be with you for as long as i needed, i still think of you and love you.
