Culture Sunday - Seine Bight, Belize

After a nice afternoon in Seine Bight, Belize. We took to the village center, where the community came together to embrace their culture and traditions. Garifuna is a beautiful culture that has endured many challenges, through the storms they still stand united. The Garifuna people that had arrived in Belize around 1797, are the Garifuna people that had travelled the furtherest in search of a brighter future. Today the rich and vibrant culture is thriving, with much to offer the diversity of Belize and the world in a whole. 🌍 #garifuna #belize #placencia
