Culture Club was a great 80's band with a wonderful message to their fans to be yourself and be proud. I finally got to meet them all in person 2016 and they did not disappoint. The picture i built up in my head of who they were was not shattered . They were just the same people as they spoke in their fan club messages.

My dream is for the WUWTHOF tour to be properly released in dvd... The BBC recorded the whole show in Birmingham, but only broadcast part of it. The band played the entirety of the WUWTHOF, except for ''Don't Talk About It'', which is one of my favourite tracks from the album. "The Dive" is a GREAT show opener and should have definitely been a single, perhaps even the lead one... I love it to this day. Sometimes I think the album didn't do as well because people were tired of always seeing G in the press. Perhaps if they'd ''disappeared'' for a while and released it one year later, things might have gone better. That put, in a great interview in Israel 9 months after the release of the album, Jon said it had already sold 7 million copies... CC were SO huge that a (up to that moment) 7-million album was considered a ''flop'... Viva, CC, viva! Love from Rio, Brazil!

It would certainly be fire if we got the full release of the tour, yeah. The Dive is one of my favorite singles from CC.. I also think you're right about the whole press thing; it's what I have thought about as well. But sometimes I do wonder how different things would've been.

I think The Dive should have been lead single, followed by Don’t Talk About It. And I think they should have kept Come On and Find Me which was written earlier in 1984 instead of giving it to Helen. It could have been their third Top 10 from that album. They still had the goods I think they were just too hurried rushed and exhausted with that third album but there was so much potential there. It frustrates me because they deserved a longer career in the spotlight

@@martypellow9908 I loved Come On And Find Me the first time I heard it - very much CC. That’s actually a really interesting singles line-up. WUWTHOF is one of probably my favorite era, and they definitely deserved a longer spotlight in that. I also get the frustration part, lol.

I met Boy George in person last night in Houston, Texas( 8/29/24) for the first time after all this time. I have seen him live several times before and djaying as well. I just never approached him before.. Most impressive and impeccable man. He told me he liked my Boy George outfit/look. It is actually his look, I just borrowed it last night for the meet and greet and the concert. I like the fact he is nice, approachable and friendly. It would have been nice to talk longer to him. Thank you for the great experience last night.
