Great work from a Post10 fan! That last culvert has years of buildup, maybe get a shovel and dig out the tire, then see about the log straddling it

We are thinking the farmer near it put the blockage there on purpose so his cows could have some water. We will probably leave it be.

The railroad ties were probably put there so the water wouldn't wash out around the tube. Good work as always.

did you ever consider that those railway ties were put in place when the culvet pipe was installed. to maintain a water level upstream. they looked too deliberately placed to of just drifted down in the water. so moving them could imbalance the water table perhaps.

We did consider that. We won’t be removing it because we believe the farmer whose land is right there put it there for his cows to have water.

Possibly they were to slow the water, catching rocks, gravels and silt.
