We are so glad you are here! Welcome to our channel!
1. We are in Oklahoma near the Arkansas border.
2. We do this on a volunteer basis.
3. Kim aka Mom is retired. Jennifer owns her own business as a massage therapist.
4. We film multiple locations in one day since we can’t go out all the time given Jen’s full time job. You may not see all the locations we filmed that day in one video.
5. You may see other people in our videos at times including Granny aka Sue (mom’s mom), Jeff (Kim’s husband and Jennifer’s dad), or Jessica (Jennifer’s little sister) and Lucy (our beautiful, amazing, wonderful dog).
6. Many wonder why we put stuff down culverts. A few reasons: it provides help for wildlife, we like to and it would have gone downstream anyway. If it blocks another culvert then we will take care of that too but most of the locations we visit are in incredibly rural areas where there won’t be another culvert for miles.
7. We care about wildlife and never want to cause harm to them. The only reason we will clear a beaver dam is if it is threatening land or roads that can not be accessed any other way. It may not be the road directly within sight but a farm road close by.
8. We appreciate advice in the comments. We understand that we will receive constructive criticism in the comments. What we won’t allow is the calling of names, derogatory terms, or just plain calling us stupid or idiots. We are all adults here and the internet is already a largely negative place as it is, let’s not add to it. We are people doing our best to help our neighborhood and planet by picking up trash and clearing culverts. Why do we deserve hate for that?
9. You may not agree with or like the way we did something but that doesn’t mean we did it wrong. There is a right/wrong way to dismantle a bomb. Clearing culverts is up for interpretation to the one doing the work.

Nice work ladies! Just a thought. Kenislovas has noticed in the past at some of the dams he has removed bubbles of air coming to the surface immediately behind the dam crest. If the bubbling is increasing, I think it is taken to mean water is actively moving into the nooks and crannies in the dam. I don't know if you can see them when you are working around beaver dams, but if you notice it happening around bigger beaver dams it might be a useful indicator of whether a collapse is imminent. Keep up the good work.

For the purpose of syncing the two cameras Post 10 makes a sound at the start of the unclogging. He explains that it is for syncing the cameras, so that later on editing the footage is easier. Post 10 also uses a magnetic camera from time to time.

That spider looked like the spiders we have up north from where I live in Ontario. We call them dock spiders because they’re usually found in and around water. I can see what you mean by snake season. 😳 Safety first, it’s good you have each other’s backs. Kim, when the force of the water pushed that bunch of sticks it was epic! Jen getting that final log was fabulous. Great video!
