It was my 3rd visit to Cumberland Island. I was not disappointed on any trip so far. It was just cool enough that ticks weren't an issue.

Another nice Cumberland island trip. Beautiful pics of sunrise. 3.5 mile beach walk, thankfully on hard sand. 👍

Thanks Tom, it was an awesome trip. Kevin invited me to go with him his sister and her friend. His sister didn't make it, so it was just the 3 of us.

I remember Kevin's hand sanitizer shower! 😆 I walked past and heard all this hootin' & hollerin' coming out of there; I thought he was dancing in a cold shower! 🤣🤣🤣 I had to record his misery. Kevin looks great! It looks like you had a great time! Beautiful beach walk.

That looked like a nice trip and a good time with friends. LOL. I can only imagine the sounds that would come out of my mouth if I unknowingly started washing up with hand sanitizer. Thanks for sharing!

It was a hoot when Kevin mistakenly used hand sanitizer instead of hand soap. It was during covid, and the rangers changed out the soap.

I always have a great time on Cumberland because it's flat, no hills. Lol. I usually go in the latter part of February because that's my birthday month, plus the ticks are not out yet.

Yes Mark, this is a favorite hike for me. At 82, I enjoy the flat ground. The only problem is it's a 5-hour ride plus a ferry ride to get to the island.
