Cummins KTA50 Diesel Engine: Load Test

Why is the turbo glowing red like that.

The engine is running at full load (1500Kw) causing the exhaust gas to become extremely hot. In turn the gas transfer its heat the the turbo turbine housing causing it to glow red. It's pretty normal to see this when load testing.
