I've done two of these swaps so far and mounted the ECM behind the dashboard up high with a 120mm 12vdc cooling fan for guaranteed airflow over the ECM. IF you could make a bulkhead connector and an extension cable about 3 or 4 feet long that would simply plug into the ECM and bulkhead connector, and sell it as an additional option, you would make many installers lives much easier. Trying to keep the ECM cool and dry under the hood is just not an easy option in most 4wd applications.
