Good job at idling this truck for a long periods of time, only has 470k miles. My truck 2018 cascadia has 570k miles never cleaned my dpf, never had a regen done since bought it brand new

Do you run an apu? That seems to be the solution to not clogging the dpf filter.

@@michaelglenning5107 yes. Never idled my truck more than 5 minutes, I have 5 minute idle shutdown feature programmed

Maybe time to have engine checked out. I was getting codes like that and regen every day also. Shop pretty much told me my engine was warn out. So I brought a scan tool to force regen and clear codes to save up for either a inframe or used engine. I went with inframe

Recién compré un Peterbilt 579 2016 con Cummins ISX15 y me gustaría ver si usted pudiese decirme las cosas importantes a tener en cuenta con este motor. Ej: Cada cuantas Millas debo hacer cambio de aceite Si debo cambiar fuel filters junto con el cambio de aceite, o si es antes o después Que tipo de aceite es mejor Si debo mecánicamente eliminar el dpf el egr o es mejor dejarlo original Cual es la presión de aceite ideal Temperatura de aceite común durante tránsito en interstate Si debo añadirle algún aditivo al diésel con cada mantenimiento, ej: ATF Cada que tiempo cambiar filtro de aire Observación: yo mismo le hago los cambios de aceite y toda la mecánica que no requiera mucho conocimiento o desarme. Etc. todo lo que usted pueda decirme para que el motor me dure lo mas posible Muchas gracias
