The arrival of our 249th ship, Queen Anne, marks a very special time for Cunard. Our Keel laying Ceremony marked another milestone in Queen Anne’s construction. Steeped in tradition, a coin is placed during the ceremony and is designed to bring luck to a ship during its construction, and to her Captain and crew whilst she is in service.
Watch Queen Anne’s Captain, Captain Inger Thorhauge, weld the coins into the hull herself! Making a special moment even more momentous.

I’m so excited for it to be completely built. But i probably won’t be able to see it because I’m in the us. And also why are you guys not going to buy Queen Mary. And I want Queen Mary to run again with its Diesel engines that it has today or new ones. And why are you guys scraping the Queen Mary’s life boats 😞

When Cunard sold queen mary Cunard said the queen marry will not sail ever again also the lifeboats are being scrapped because it is a safety hazard
