Queen Eliisabeth is a classic ship ellegant great service have sailed on her several times and will be back on board in December will join Queen Anne in February for sector of the world cruise.

I’m back on Queen Elizabeth Sept for Pacific Coastal - very nice overview of ship … it’s worth mentioning that the grand lobby flowers smell amazing and there are flowers throughout the ship …you MUST try the Queen Mary Transatlantic crossing - have done it several times and it’s the way to get to Europe or vice versa ( New York ) no jet lag . LIdia is SO Glamourous and you ( debonair) lovely couple who clearly elevate the Cunard experience !!

I love this video thank you! Did you notice many children? We have 3 little and we cruise at least a few times a year - so they are seasoned cruisers and well behaved (as far as kids go). But we’ve exhausted our US sailings and are considering this ship for the Australia/Pacific Islands cruise. Thanks for such a wonderful and detailed video!

Wow, that sounds like a lot of fun! We enjoyed cruising with our sons when they were young and we always had such a great time. It is good to start them young! Ours are now in their 20's and flew out to join us for a cruise we did in the fall - still having a blast together. (We actually made a video of that one on our channel too). Anyway - on this cruise there weren't many kids as it was a 19 night cruise and it was a repositioning cruise so most were older couples. But there were a few children. They did have a kids area but didn't have the waterslides and things that other ships had. This was however one of our favorite ships and we are planning to go on the other Cunard ships. Nice video thanks! We are looking at a Sydney to Singapore cruise on her for next February but are wondering if the entertainment might be a little too "Cunard" for us. A little of the classical music is fine but is there also more modern music like we might find on the other major cruise lines?

Yes, absolutely - they had other venues around the ship that had other music, like folk, R&B, etc. The Queen's room was definitely mostly used for ballroom music and dancing at night but even there they had nights when there was modern music played which allowed for a change of more freestyle dancing rather than just ballroom style. The evening shows in the theater had the type of performers that you would see on other lines and we really enjoyed the variety of shows and music. Have a great time and thanks so much for watching!

I believe they have elevators to all levels though there may be a spot on the very upper decks or isolated areas that aren't available. It seemed that we used elevators all the time.

Hi Tom, those are great questions. We usually try and get on board as soon as possible but as your question suggests - sometimes they hold you back until it is your time. What I remember about boarding this ship - it was our first time with Cunard - was that it was very smooth and quick. I felt like we basically walked through a couple of checks and got on board. Fantastic experience. In regards to the dress codes, we always dressed well but on this trip we packed light and did not have any suits with me. I got by with a dress shirt and slacks for every event and it was no trouble at all. Thanks for watching! We just posted another video about the same trip and the fun we had on the ship.
