This was the first video/ship tour we decided to narrate- admittedly our voices are a little timid in this video and we had issues getting the sound right. Luckily we seemed to have ironed out volumes etc now with all the practice. QM2 is the best ship we’ve ever been on, it doesn’t matter how much fun we have on other ships, she is just so majestic and grand and quite probably the last ocean liner to ever be made- a voyage on QM2 is being part of history we’re really considering a TA after this worldwide situation settles😍

Guys another really well edited and put together Video . The voice overs are good ,short and to the point , sound and music just right . You should be really proud of the video , it's interesting to watch and for a new to ship and cruising person the tour info is good . Nihar Talukdar depends really, Cunard like other cruise lines operate a fluid pricing meaning the prices go up and down all the time. Seasons also play a big part in price, it’s usually cheaper to go November time - but the weather isn’t as favorable then. Insides are roughly £800 balconies £1500-£1700 but like I said you can get cheaper quotes or dearer ones. Drinks, speciality dining options and spa services are not included. I’d recommend possibly going through a travel agent and having a 3 night stay in New York at the end of your cruise. I’d strongly recommend comparing travel agents and costing in what exactly you want, do you drink? Maybe consider a drinks package? Do u need a balcony? Would you be happy in an inside? Do u use the spa? Research is key 👍🏻 hope this helps.

I crossed on the original Queen Mary with my mother when I was 14, in the 50's. We went first class, and to me then it was not as appreciated as it would be now. Dressing for dinner was normal back then anyway.

you wouldn’t find me on a stereotypical cruise at gunpoint. you WOULD, however, find me on a transatlantic voyage aboard an ocean liner like QM2! y’know, i hate it when people call her a “cruise ship”, and her voyages “transatlantic cruises”. ocean liners > cruise ships i will stand by that opinion till the day i die. We love cruises of any type. Yes QM2 does the traditional transatlantic voyage but transatlantic cruises would also appeal you’d have the crossing and then a few destinations thrown in at the end/beginning depending on which way you sail. There’s ship for everyone out there, we love QM2 she’s one of our favorites but we like to have fun on standard ships too, there’s a lot on offer out there. 👍🏻

Brian Ward hi, tickets a free, but you need to collect them from connextions. They were available from 9am and when we got there around 10am there were lots still available, you just pick tickets for the time you want.

Unfortunately yes. There’s the odd reference to white star here and there in the displays/exhibits around the ship. But in general they’re more focused on Cunard- understandably. I know for certain there was a model of Olympic in one of the bars on QV but I’m not sure if it’s still there because the area was refitted and turned into the Britannia club dining room. I will say this, being on a Cunard ship is like stepping back in time- in a good way! It certainly gives you a feel of the old traditional cruising experience and Cunard are very proud of their heritage they do things in a very tasteful way. We love it! 👍🏻

Got plenty of Titanic-related clothing to keep the other passengers uncomfortable and even bringing Vinolia Otto Toilet Soap for “higher standard of toilet luxury and comfort at sea.” 😏

The ship is getting old and boring. Just came back from 16 days Cunard. It degraded a lot. food quality and quantity BAD. especially at the Lido. Super short handed. It is at the Carnival cruise style. No dance host, no queens room Hostess, no professional dancer exhibition, etc. will not recommend for this price ( we are diamond on Cunard, not a newbie)

Sorry. Not the best video. Some tips for improvement. You need to slow down your panning so we can take in more of the views. Also slow down your narration. Some times you talk to fast. Also it sounds like you are slurring some of your words. But, that might be because you are talking to fast and not enunciating the words clearly. I had to go back and listen to quite a few things more than once in order to understand what you were saying.

mike john it’s the first video we’d actually done narration, up until that point all of our videos were just music. There were a lot of problems putting this video together sound and clarity being a lot of those issues, some of those have been ironed out now in our newer videos. If I’m honest all of our videos are made using my iPhone as I don’t really want to be carrying a lot of equipment around with me on my holiday, possibly why the pans are fast and inconsistent maybe? When we do go back on QM2 in the future I will probably re-shoot a lot of this and re voice it over. Thanks for the feedback 👍🏻

Joseph Forest Queen Mary 2 is the greatest OCEAN LINER afloat compared to all of the previous OCEAN LINERS. However compared to a modern day CRUISE SHIP she does lack water slides, a karting track and a few other modern novelties most other floating resorts have. QM2 has been designed specifically for the transatlantic crossings she makes on a regular basis as opposed to cruise ships that only make the crossing twice a year when they reposition at the either the beginning/end of the season. We’ve been on a few cruise ships and QM2 handles much better in rough seas.

@@nocturn791 Reasons , miserable stuffy crew , mediocre food , lack of activities , dull lectures , art work made of plastic next to the elevators , only one night club , no female dancers/ hosts for single men , talk about discrimination . No theme nights when it comes to food , never met the cruise director , on 3 different cruises . Maybe sometime , I shall list the bad things , ha ha .
