(As a Spurs supporter) with the Johnson benching, it seems to me like what Ange did with Maddison,--he is trying to keep the midweek non Premier League games in mind and so he rotates midfielders in particular as they have to do the most running up and down the field. Tottenham is a difficult team for FPL as they have what seems to me as the largest spread of goals & assists. Son, Solanke, Johnson, Kulu, Maddison and even Werner and Sarr now and then. This makes them interesting as an actual team but from an FPL lens, trying to keep ahead of who will get Spurs' returns is chasing the dragon.

Totally agree! I got a question, after Gameweek 13, Brentford have a bad run of games coming up. I’ve got Mbeumo and I’m thinking who to bring in to replace him, around that 7,5-8 million mark. I’m thinking about Jarrod Bowen cause he has a good fixture list coming up. Or James Maddison or Luis Diaz. I am not quite sure wich one to pick. Who do you think is the best pick to replace Mbeumo? Could also be another one I didn’t mention. If you have someone in mind.

@@mathiasjansen9 Bro, it depends on what your other moves are! I hope you already have Salah, Saka & Palmer in your team. For a direct replacement I think Rodgers and Semenyo should still have a decent run of fixtures bar a game or two plus they save your funds! And, I'd prefer Maddison over Diaz if you are to choose between the two! P.S. Keep an eye on Mitoma as BHA also have amazing fixtures!

Overperforming comments sound similar to Chris Wood a few weeks back 👀 I agree though, he is. But you'd expect good forwards to out perform their Xg in easier fixtures which Cunha has for a while. Can't see many holding him more than 5-6 weeks though, so quicker the better.

[Cunha] I'm not sure I agree with the fact he's overperforming.. Maybe in an FPL perspective because the team around him isn't great.. I think he would start for every single team in the Premier League... and I'm not exaggerating... I can't think of one team he doesn't start for. He's so versatile, can play on the left / right / centrally, and even as a striker if need be. This guy is absolute class. Only reason I didn't have him in my team at the start of the season was because of the fixture run. He will be there or there abouts involved in so many of Wolves' goals this season, and this run of fixtures is too good to ignore.

Sure, but he's on 7 goals from 3.1 xG. That xG is only 0.5 ahead of Strand Larsen for example. This rate of returns will not last, it never does. But that doesn't mean he's a bad pick, his underlying numbers are decent, he has assist threat and is great for bonus with brilliant fixtures. Not denying he's a very good player, and he's a very good FPL pick too - but he can be all that and be overperforming :)

@ it would be interesting to know how much of that xg has come from the easier games he’s had recently compared to the tough start. He might build up a lot more xg rapidly in the upcoming easier fixtures, than compared with the start wolves had. Stats are good but they only take into account what has passed, not potential for future.

I've had him on my team from the start as a bench sitter, but at 4.9 currently he could be a good, consistent, cheap way into a Man U team that we don't really know where the goals are going to come from for a period. Amorim seems to rate him highly and out of a lot of the attackers they have, he seems like one of the ones I currently feel more certain about playing because of his ability to play in that attacking wingback spot
