I actually owned both Cunha and Joao Pedro, and I think its a good combo to have going forward, based on their fixtures and eye test thus far.

Agreed. There’s a natural feeling to want to own higher valued players. Iv had two weeks of Wissa, Cuhna and Pedro as my front 3 and they rotate so well as well as allowing for a bloated squad value which is great, it will just take some future planning to bring in a Halaand or a Issak but I have money in the bank and no need for transfers - stress free

Great video. Nice commentary on the diversification. I don't like having triple players from a team, as i just enjoy the game more with players from a range of teams. I don't even really like having two players from the same team. It is 'suboptimal', but lifts the enjoyment for me from following more games.

Hi Ross, just wanted to give another take on the diversification topic. With triple defense the bonus points have to be shared between 3 players as well so maximum points would likely be 7 + 8 + 9 = 24 (and this is extremely unlikely to pan out like this in a single game anyway). However with 3 defenders from different teams you have a chance at 3 bonus for each player if they get a cleansheet so 27 is the likely max. Slightly higher reward for some diversification from that view in my opinion

Agree on the diversification argument for defence. For offence, i would like to add the factor of game state. So say Chelsea has scored via Jackson, they may get more defensive to protect the lead, thereby limiting the attacking return for Palmer. Whereas, Jackson scoring doesn't affect the game Saka is in for Arsenal. Tho, there are some teams who attack no matter the scoreline like spurs.

Saka vs Salah captain decision is hurting my head. Salah tougher game but at home and City looked poor recently. Saka easier game but away West Ham positive result last weekend. Odegaard back last 2 makes Saka look unreal. Salah simply been the best FPL option this season and goal threat higher. Ross help me. Oh I've got Palmer, Joao Pedro, Cunha and Jackson too.

Its also difficult to pivot if you triple up on a team. That being said im targeting a triple up on Liverpool (double defence), Arsenal (double defence) and double chelsea (Palmer+Jackson). I am (3 transfers away)

Diversification is great for avoiding failure. However, as a game tripling up is more likely to push you to winning or losing big hence it is a better strategy to win or recover a mini league.

On double ups, sorry not sorry but you're wrong. Yes Saka and Havertz are 2 different individuals, and you could say that they don't know that you have the other one in your team. But in reality they play in the same team, and yes it can happen in some games that both perform, but Arsenal for example doesn't score 3-4 goals each game, does it ? So most of the cases they score 1-2 and guess who performs in most of those ? Yup, in this case it's Saka. So if you double up with Havertz then in most of your games, you must accept that you'll have an 8mil player that gives you half time some 2 points and in the other half some 6 maybe a 12 here and there. Why would you do that ? You want to maximize the points you get per mil spent, so if you could get a Joao Pedro for a great run of 6-7 games and you he will get you constantly points and maybe 1-2 blanks and then switch him to another player that has his share of great next 6-7 games and so on...I think that would be better. I mean we all go for fixtures, especially for non Premium Players, which don't have the consistency of getting you points no matter the opponent.
