I managed to see Sir Mark Rylance last Sunday in Jerusalem. I can honestly say I have never seen anything like it. His performance was beyond words, particularly the last act. A week later I am still lost for words. Greatest actor of all time.

I watched him in Jerusalem two months ago and I still can't stop thinking about his performance. His performance was not human!!!

@@marlonblade007 What did you think?
@marlonblade0072 жыл бұрын
@@markhigh6271 Great. Clearly I was surrounded people who'd seen it many times. Jez Butterworth was there as well as it was the last show of the run. Rylance said it'd be back.

@@marlonblade007 Do you have any footage of Mark's speech at the end? I heard it was very emotional. I would love to see it if you do!

The difference between artists and idiots is a thin one, but the difference is on evident display here. My God, those "critics" are tools.

As an American, I found the first act completely incomprehensible. I'm very glad I came back after the intermission. Once the plot kicked in, the play was wonderful.

I love Mark's comment about doctors being drug dealers of a different sort. Wise man. So full of life. Runs rings around the so-called 'intellectuals' in our midst!

A stunning performance. I may be wrong, but my understanding is that the 'dark satanic mills' Blake was referring to were actually churches.

Interesting. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that you have received some sort of an education where you will have had to learn by studying intensely the novels/poems/plays of selected artists. So, my question is, if all the artists you learnt from are 'idiots', where on earth does that lead you?

Sciencephobia again 😞Nostalgia for bloody rituals, sympathy to drugs and violence - ok, it was tolerable, but not blaming science...
