The spread of the current outbreak of Lyme disease has a very clear map, pointing right at Lyme CT as the epicenter. Also interesting, when I was a kid in the 80s and 90s playing everyday in the woods of upstate NY, I never saw a single tick and neither did anyone I know. Either way, this outbreak sparked off right across from Plum island so its not a wild idea to suggest that it could have been related.

One of the biggest reasons you have to be critical of Warren in this line of question and the topic of suing pharma companies is because of the state she represents. One of the wealthiest in America, where lots of big pharma and biotech companies all call home. It's in her state's interest to maintain the status quo for them. Think of all the downstream implications if the government or people were allowed to sue pharma companies in Massachusetts and how they would wreck their economy. I'm not pro or anti Warren, think she actually is probably one of the good ones, but she still has to defend the interests of her state and her position.
