Tom Daley always comes across as such a sweet guy. He did really well with that technique too. Its good to see non-professionals trying these techniques for the first time, it gives you an idea of how easy/difficult you might find it if you tried it too.

i absolutely loved this video! i recently visited the crumbs and doilies shop in kingly court, and the cakes are absolutely delicious! sometimes the cupcakes in cupcake shops taste really artificial but the crumbs and doilies ones taste like proper homemade cake! x

Jemma, Questions: 1. how did you cover the cakes with crumbs? why do this? 2. what kind of colour are you using here?

Mohtasim Tamjeed so i'm not jemma, but basically the crumb coat is to lock in crumbs so they don't mix with the actual icing..so that in the end it looks more flawless. and you do it basically the way you ice the cake it's just another layer but Jemma has a lot of videos on her channel where she shows how she does it. and about the colours...I dunno what colours she used but it was gel colour i think. hope that helps a little🙈
