Oh gosh I really miss making cakes. And recently this piñata cake is trending like crazy. I checked out so many videos and ended up absolutely liking yours. The other videos I’ve seen people are making a piñata dome out of chocolate and then placing it over some sweets and chocolate and then calling it a piñata cake. But you’ve shown that it’s so simple and thanks for explaining how to do it and sharing some great tips 🧁

I’m making this for my girl’s birthday soon. I hope she loves it! Did you apply a thin layer of buttercream inside the hole like jemma did? I’ve heard buttercream can cause smarties to bleed and the colours seep into the cake. I hope your son loved the cake too.

Hello Jemma! Last week I visited C& D shop in Soho for the first time (my dream-came-true moment, and your staff was really sweet and helpful), and amongst cupcakes and a slice of rolo cake I also bought a slice of what turned out to be an addiction: white chocolate with pink and white marshmallows, oreo bits and coconuts (I think), topped with choolate sauce and more oreos. I failed to catch the name but would be great if you could share the recipe for this ;-) Truly love what you do and your videos!!

I've just thought, if you bake an extra layer of cake, and then DON'T cut a hole out of the middle, you can put it as the bottom layer of cake so if you need to move the cake anywhere, the sweets won't go everwhere!
