If you have smoke bomb you can stay just a bit longer under holding fire and when it gets super close to you, you can smoke bomb onto the rollercoaster

This was helpful. I didn't think of dropping down to the ground level to avoid the baseball shots. I struggled on that phase and the balloon dogs phase, so thanks for making this so I can study it more easily. ;)

You can also shoot them a few times to remove the penguins completely, but the boss can sometimes get in the way so you need to be careful when you do it.

I personally have a lot more luck with the last phase by staying at a corner, watching out for the penguins when they come out, shooting the ones on my side of the screen that way there would be less penguin base balls to worry about especially when the rollercoaster comes. But I’m glad you can find a different ways to defeat that phase because I’m more likely to fall off a platform and onto a penguin.

Why do people never go UNDER him when he’s on the horse during his third phase? You avoid damage when he attacks and you can focus exclusively on when the train is going to attack.

best way to kill is with the triple gun shot. and invisible dash. each time he drives forward you just dash and you are on the other side. without hitting or shooting the ducks. hardest boss in my opinion is the one with the bee queen

Other weapons kill faster. He also used a lot of time not doing damage to avoid damage himself in the 2nd and 3rd stages (dog balloons and horses). The goal of this wasn't to get an A+, just a no damage run. That alone is good work. But it takes FAR FAR more luck and skill to get A+ ranks from how much RNG there is to fight against. Gotta learn the attack patterns, then hope they are timed out to not overlap one another and get forced damage. Stage 3 for example loves to send the coaster at the right moment the boss is shooting horseshoes making the only option to avoid damage is to do near pixel perfect dodges through the coaster. Kinda hard and unfair. And this is maybe a middle difficulty boss. Others are far worse in their RNG and patterns over patterns.

+102Chewy It's actually not as much RNG as you might think. You can dictate when things happen in this game based on damage and timing. The timing on when the rollercoaster appears is based on how much damage you inflict to the boss and the timing of that damage. For example, in the transition from the first phase to the second phase, if you can time your damage so that the last duck flying overhead enters the screen just before the clown gets knocked off the bumper car, the next phase (clown balloon) will rise before the rollercoaster is seen in the background. If your timing is off, the rollercoaster will appear in the background before the balloon rises. This changes how quickly the rollercoaster gets to the foreground and alters the attack patterns for phase two. The same thing happens with the transition from phase two to three and so on.
