one thing i absolutely love that i don’t think anyones noticed is that once the snail is defeated after the fake knockout, the real announcer comes in and clears his throat before saying the real knockout i thought that was really cool, just another example of how awesome studio MDHR is with this game

I think it's mainly smoother animation with more frames and more attention to getting each frame perfect. That's probably why this dlc is so late. I'm glad the studio prioritized quality and the needs of the employees over keeping to their deadlines

The dlc is honestly so much smoother. Two the mortimer freeze and even the howling aces have more smooth animation compare to the base game. Would like to see the base game have smoother animation but I doubt it since it’s mostly hand drawn. Maybe cuphead 2? Would be nice

Beppi The Clown is only really difficult cause his third phase can result in near unavoidable damage if you get unlucky. The first, second, and final phase are all pretty easy and manageable. The Moonshine Mob's all three phases are pretty tough, and same thing can be said for Mortimer and Esther.

Considering there is a charm you can get at the start of the DLC that requires you to beat all the new bosses without getting hit AND having the weapons randomized to unleash it's true power, it's pretty understandable that the new bosses wouldn't be as hard as the originals! They're still Cuphead level bosses though!

I slowed it down, it was frame perfect when he shrunk down, the animation showed the tic of damage, but he had a frame of invincibility i think when he shunk. so it showed as damg but he never took it

I see you got three of the four alternate paths on certain bosses. you missed the alternate path on The Howling Aces. during the second phase when the Cadet Pups show up, damage their jetpacks till they turn gray but don't finish them off. Once all four are gray it jumps to the final phase with Saluki and her plane jumping in, good news is you don't have to worry about the screen rotating, bad news is the Cadet Pups jump into the final phase alongside Saluki

Some bosses are creepy in own way, and so much that they would give players nightmares. Lol. Anyway, I think every boss except for the Chess bosses are possessed by the Devil because of the yellow eyes and the fact that all of the Devil’s lieutenants except for King Dice, his casino lackeys, and those two guys in the secret boss fight in the Delicious Last Course are actually good people, like the Chess people. The Devil must have made deals with them. The Delicious Last Course bosses are probably the Devil’s backup lieutenants. The Chess people are not really evil. They just wanted to play with the Cup team. That’s my theory.
