Random encounters uploaded "cuphead the musical" a couple of months ago. And when I saw it I just knew that I wanted to make my own spin on it. So here it is!
I'm so sorry for the inactivity here. I've been up to a lot of things. But now I'm back! I'm really gonna try to upload once a month now.

‼Before you write anything‼ Please stop bashing random encounters. Without them this animatic would never exist. They actually took the time of their lives and animated something. animation is a craft that takes a lot of time and effort. And yes, it may not have been the most eye pleasing animation ever. But they did something out of their comfort-zone. And I think that's really brave of them! They did something I could probably never do! Also the animation is like 4 minutes long! That's crazy impressive for being THEIR FIRST TIME! I'm rambling. But I just really wanna get this out. Before you say that "this one is better than the original" please consider that the what I'm doing is a lot less time consuming and easier. And there's a lot of things that they did better than me! I'm just really proud of them and it makes me so sad as a content creator myself that people tell these terrible things to them! And yes I know that everyone can have their own opinion. But I don't feel like it's nessasary to use slurs and swearwords to get that message through. Sorry for the rant. Have a good day/evening!

That’s very kind of you to say. 🙂 We tried, and we’re proud of our video, but that doesn’t mean it was perfect. Perhaps the biggest shame is how much focus our lack of skill took away from the music, voice actors, and apparently even fan animators’ creative work... This is gorgeous and cleverly made - end of story. 🙂

For everyone who's saying the original sucks, may I remind you that it was their FIRST time doing animation (not to be confused with claymation musicals) and it was a different style of animation than people thought it would be. Jesus, some people actually don’t understand how hard it is to animation and how long it takes? The random encounters aren’t very used to animation, but I’m saying their animation was great! When people say “‘Oh, so much better than the original” They tried their best and tried to make us happy with something new! It’s just telling me some of the fans aren’t very greatful of what these youtuber at using their time and effort making. But anyways this animatic was great, art and colouring was awesome, keep up the good work

I love the song by random encounters. I honestly didn't like the animation of the original, but I think it was amazing to attempt. Animation is a difficult thing to do and they made a risky choice. Sure, maybe it doesn't fit most of your high standards, but I thought it was pretty good considering it was their first time (having NEVER drawn or animated before). You don't have to like it, just don't be such jerks talking negatively about them on someone else's channel! You wanna help out? Then look up the definition of constructive criticism, encourage them, and help them improve. Surely you kids can do that? Don't hit them when they're down and be respectful. For all the people saying " This is better than the original 😂". Random Encounters is known for their musicals. It's very rare to see them do an animation. That's why the original looks how it is. They put time, effort, and dedication into Cuphead the musical. This video animation wouldn't exist without Random Encounters. Btw you did an amazing job👍😊🙂

Ok so I'm seeing a lot of comments and replies saying the original was bad this one is so much better well this is what I have to say. They both worked hard on the videos animating/animatronic isn't as easy as you think and for the original being their first animation it's really good and for you people who hate on it well... can you do better? Did you animate that good your first time? Yeah I didn't think so theirs no need to show hate it only makes people feel bad. I didn't write this for any haters to feel offended in anyway just to try to prove a point that maybe just try to look at the positive instead of the negative thank you if you read this.

Creator of this animatic: You are amazing for a one person animatic! Seriously! With how on point you are with the characters, it’s honestly astonishing! I have watched the original to support the original creator and I do indeed love this song to bits... but I feel like they should have gotten you to do the animation, or had this be the official artwork. I know animations take a long time, and it could very well have been a person who just needs a bit more practice. I feel I wouldn’t at all be on the same level and probably do about as bad as the original music video. The thing that makes me less forgiving however, is they could’ve easily hired people like you, or taken more time on the pictures within the animatic, or maybe not have it on a deadline like they did. The only reason that makes me mad is because of what you said yourself, "animations take time to get good at." I don’t even have anything against the actual designs, I just wish the line art or shading was a bit better, or better yet, not add the shading if it’s giving the line art a bad wrap. Even with the other clay-mations, I feel like a little more effort being put into the animation would’ve made it amazing! It’s not that I’m saying you should replace the actual animation, I just feel the actual animation should’ve had more effort put into it.
