now that the dlc came out, we can see a LOT of unused bosses that made a "re-apeareance" on a different form, for example, the octopus, the green frog(?) with a hat and the design for the spider

4:03 if you don shoot at the onion in root pack it will skip to the psycarrot phase and A beet/ radish thin will spin from side to side. It makes that phase waaaaay harder and I recommend it as an expert mode challenge

There seems to be a lot of confusion in the comments on why some of these unfinished bosses look so rough. They are incomplete and unreleased, therefore they are rough and unfinished, with placeholders to represent what could have been. Just because some of these bosses look like they were drawn in MS paint doesn't mean they aren't real. These are the rough drafts, and if they had made it to the game they would be drawn by hand like all of the finished bosses.

The M.Fang (demon bat) is still hinted, as when switching between the first and 2nd (3rd?) phase, you can see a cave like area as the background moves up. it is there for only half a second, but the fight’s backdrop is still there.

Remember, the entire game and animations are hand-drawn and it was delayed multiple times, so some content did have to be cut out to save time. But perhaps in the upcoming dlc we'll see the spider along with some other scraped and new bosses. I too think the spider looks pretty amazing,

There is actually a book showing a summary of the "spider boss" or the "flying gentlemen." All other bosses in the main game like the phantom express and cagney carnation were on the same page. The boss was supposed to use it's "vicious tounge" to attack and it's obvious that the boss was scrapped later in development.

The Root Pack: Betty Beet Goopy Le Grande: Second Goopy Hilda Berg: A form where she becomes a full moon. RIbby & Croaks: A phase where they use harder versions of their first and second phase attacks in the slots. Cagney Carnation: Becomes even more demonic, as more pollen obstructs the view. Baroness von Bonbon: The castle eventually stops, punching at Cuphead while harder to dodge heads are thrown from the Baroness. Djimmi the Great: *As if he needs ANOTHER phase* Beppi the Clown: Becomes a ferris wheel, with most carts containing enemies while one has his face. Wally Warbles: Junior comes back with a vengeance, throwing fireballs and lightning while his dad is still stuck in the stretcher. Grimm Matchstick: A form with 9 heads like a Hydra, shooting out fireballs while the clouds pass by more slowly and more plentifully. Rumor Honeybottoms: Becomes her normal self in between Head and Plane, using more magic. Cala Maria: Her head falls, but is kept up by the eels, who send more violent shockwaves. Captain Brineybeard: Rams into Cuphead, forcing him aboard, where the Octopus boss is waiting. He can be damaged normally, but parrying is still more effective. Phantom Express: A boss that portrays the passengers of a train; we have the Conductors, Engineers, and even the PISTONS but no passengers. They could be spooky ghosts, as it's the *phantom* express. King Dice: An extended board, with The Light, Pachi Pachi, and another new gambling character. The Devil: The battle starts with him as a bat, before moving on to the throne room.

"The Light", is actually cuphead. In an early development stage, the "Green Lad (other name)" was the design for cuphead himself. The two heads belong to one of the creators, Jared Moldenhauer. These heads were used when a boss attack, (such as king dice's cards, Cagney Carnation's seed pods, etc.) were missing from the game files. This head was a placeholder for the actual attack.

For everyone who doesnt know: Betty Beet IS ACTUALLY in cuphead! If you dont attack the onion on root pack second stage, it will skip the stage to the carrot and also summon betty beep but instead of throwing things, it will spin to each side tthat the player has to jump over. I hope this helps anyone xD
