My list: 5. Baroness von bon bon A pretty easy boss that I now have an A rank on. 4. Djimmi the great The first boss I beat in isle two, but it definetly took me a while. 3. Beppi the clown The first two phases aren't that bad, the final two are a pain. 2. Wally warbles This boss was so hard until I realized to hug the left wall on the first phase. 1. GRIM MATCHSTICK I spent more time on this boss than any of the bosses on isle one, two, or three.

For me Djimmi has been one the easiest bosses in the whole game, and definitely the easiest one on Isle two. I struggled a lot on baroness von bon bon though, I couldn't grasp how to dodge her head!

I found Djimmi to be the easiest, as well as the most fun. It was a quest of several weeks and fudging around finding spare coins for the lobber shot to beat that dragon. The key with Djimmi is to stay on the bottom of the screen for the random crap attack. You only have to avoid a few things and you don't have the skull attack to worry about.

My list, easiest to hardest: 5. Wally Warbles- he was quite basic and really simple to beat. Sure the last phase was kinda tricky but i only had to learn the patterns and how each attack worked. 4. Djimmi the Great - He was kinda easy, it really depended on what I got for the first phase. I learnt the patterns quite well. Nothing much to say but it was simple and easy to dodge. 3. Baroness Von Bon Bon- She was quite a nightmare in the first three phases but once I got a combo of the easiest ones, or ones I actually learnt how to deal with, I actually got past the phases. But then the last one was actually quite basic and simple, yet I still needed to get used to all the jumping to avoid the flying head. 2. Grim Matchstick- he was a nightmare at first. The first phase is so messy that I didn’t understand what was going on. After ages of trying though, I got used to the first two phases. But the second one, I hated those jumping fireballs. I learnt that chaser is best for it, or at least for me, so I just used that while jumping on platforms. At the same time, when I heard their little sounds of preparing to jump, I looked down at them to see what direction they’re facing. So that way I know which way to jump/ duck to dodge them. The last phase was an absolute no. Until I did it the hard way and did not shoot Grim while he was doing the fireball phase. I just avoided them. When I saw his head turning into the flamethrower, I went on the top platforms and shot him repeatedly while hopping from cloud to cloud. This method took a while but I actually beat the boss this way. 1. Beppi the Clown- WHY WAS THIS SO HARD AT FIRST??? I still haven’t beaten him (probably will at some point today) but his first phase is really simple. Though, it depends really on how long in takes for him to fall out cuz I’d grow impatient. I really use chaser for this whole fight, it’s the best for me as I’m not always facing that clown. The second phase I had to get used to. The bulldogs still get me when I mess up the buttons but i managed to go no hit during that phase a few times... the train is the worst part. I hate it and I keep getting hit when I’m not concentrating on it. The third one is okay, though if the horses are spitting the hooves out while the Train is going, I’m screwed. Because then I jump right into them. I’ve managed to reach the last phase a few times but I always die to the penguins. I have a strat but I still keep getting hit. It’s easy but it’s tricky. (Edit: I actually got through with the strategy. The penguin thing is stay on the platforms and when they shoot, jump on the ground, then they shook again and jump on the platforms) • I hope this helped to some people and its not always the same for everyone, so don’t give up guys•

I think the reason most people hate Beppi the Clown is because he works through a random number generator. Things like how far the bumper car goes, the balloons he summons, and the horses he rides are all randomly generated, giving you a hard fight each time.

If you want to beat Grim Matchstick, use Lobber the first two forms, and in the final form use Lobber or the boomerang shot. I beat him in under 20 tries.

My rank: Beppi the Clown. I beat him in 2 tries, and some people say he's one of the harder bosses. To put this in perspective, the root pack and Werner Werman took me 1 try, and Goopy Le Grande took 3 tries. Baroness Von Bon Bon. Her patterns were pretty easy, and it took me 3 tries on the final phase before I beat her. Wally Warbles: I'm used to bullet hell games so I wasn't too phased by the feather phase. The last phase got me quite a few times though. 8 tries. Grim Matckstick: I had the lobber. It wasn't too bad. 11 tries. Djimmi the Great: I hated this boss. I especially disliked the random chance in the beginning because i would always suck at the cat one, but I was great at the swords. The puppet got me more times than I like to admit. The last phase killed me once, but i killed the last phase on my second try. 17 tries overall.

Here’s my list: (Expert) 5. grim matchstick- he is a complete joke on expert mode 4. Beppi the clown- idk I just found him easy 3. Djimmi the great- I only had trouble in the first and the fourth phase, other than that I found him really easy 2. Baroness von bon bon- I hated the cupcake mini boss along with her final phase 1. Wally Warbles- this boss on expert mode is a living hell, the first phase he has the egg attack which is very hard to avoid and he shoots it every 3-5 seconds, his second phase is relatively easy but his third phase is terrible. His eggs that fly around go so fast, they block your shots and it takes forever if you don’t have a super. The last phase is easy though, just rain down bombs and it will be over soon. Out every boss in the game, in my opinion, Wally Warbles was the hardest to S rank along with Cala Maria.

My list (regular mode) 5.Wally warbles (didn't find him hard at all :l i had a tougher time against both hilda and the frogs from world 1 than with him) 4.Grim matchstick (he was alright to me, not too hard but definitely not easy, probably my favorite boss as well! i liked everything, his design, his fight, his music and he's one of the bosses that isn't actually trying to really kill you, just look at the death quotes) 3Beppi (tough third phase, the rest wasn't too bad, but this guy was one of the biggest difficulty spikes in the game for me) 2.Baroness von bon bon (her minions aren't that bad...besides Muffsky Chernikov (muffin man) and Kernel Von Pop (the yellow candy guy) but her final phase can be pretty hard without the chaser) 1.Djimmi the great (this boss took me a lot of time and tries to beat, the only phase i found easy was the second one and the first one if he summons swords, but his final phase is the real reason he took me so much time to beat)

At least it's not Dr. Kahl's Robot. 1. Grim Matchstick. This boss would be easier if it wasn't for the fact that you have to stay on the cloud platforms for the whole fight.

This is my list personally after beating the game 2 times 5. Baroness Von Bon Bon - I died to her the most during my first playtrough but now shes a piece of *cake* 4. Beppi the Clown - He’s fairly easy, his attacks were easy to memorize but the 2nd phase is where i always take damage 3. Wally Warbles - 1st phase is hell, after that the fight gets easier 2. Djimmi the Great - It took me a while to beat him because he has so many phases 1. Grim Matchstick - it surprisingly took me 8 tries to beat him on my 1st playtrough but struggled during my 2nd

5. Beppi - throughout all of his phases he can be nuked quite quickly thx to the spread weapon. The last phase can actually be rushed with the help of spread's ex move 4. Wally - by paying attention each phase is rather easy. Actually the only threat is Wally Jr's eggs which sometimes you can't see coming because they trend to fly off-screen. 3. Baroness - things get shitty if you have a bad luck and roll the orange bastard as the 3rd of the 3 minions. Paying attention to him, his minions, those (shitty) jellybeans and Baroness shooting at you at the same time can be very disorienting. Then goes the last phase where Bon Bon throws her homing-missile-like head which you can't get rid of. Very frustrating... 2. Djimmi - if you roll the treasure flurry during the first phase you may just as well click retry until you don't get that. Otherwise you're not going to survive to the end of last phase. Of course if you do to the end of the fourth one... 1. Grim - similar story as with Djimmi. If you don't have full hp during the last phase it's very unlikely that you will deal with him spamming his splittable fireballs. Plus facing him on the right side isn't an easy job. With lobber weapon, the fight is somewhat less frustrating.

My top 5 favorite boss battles (These are not in order): 5: Beppi the Clown, mainly because of the music and the last phase. 4: Cagney Carnation, AKA Plant Boi. The music is killer, and I like the dance he makes. 3: Hilda Berg. I like the music, her animation, her phases, and the best part is the laugh she makes when she turns into the moon. 2: Werner Werman. The Tom and Jerry reference, along with the German military Outfit Werner Werman has. I like that. 1: King Dice: I like the idea of having several mini-bosses. Easiest to hardest for me: 1: Baroness von Bon Bon Minibosses are simple, avoiding her head is easy if you lure to the castle then to the opposite side of the screen. 2: Djimmi the Great: He would've been in the top 3 if I didn't discover you could fly behind him on his first phase, which makes dodging cats much easier. As for the other phases, his face on the pillars could be destroyed with 2 bombs Puppethead was irritating but manageable, final form was easier than third form. 3: Wally Warbles: An overall balanced fight, not too hard, not too easy. 4: Beppi the Clown: First phase is a joke, that scream always makes me laugh, second phase and third phase, spreader is your best friend, final phase a pain in the ass without Super Attack. 5: Grim FUCKING Matchsticks: First phase, simple the boss is in front, the platforms are coming from the side the boss is on, RNG isn't as big a factor in this phase. Second phase, heavily RNG reliant both on the platforms and the fireball minions. On bad placed cloud(or missing cloud) and an asshole minion could cost you 2 hits easily. Final phase, almost unfair in terms of RNG reliance, the clouds seemed to always screw me over eventually, not to mention this asshole's rapid firing splitting fireballs and flamethrowers outta nowhere.

With the dragons fight, the first phase is easy, the second is managable, and the third is fucking hard. But once it's on expert, things just go in reverse. The clouds move the other way, making the first phase hell, but the second two a cake walk.

You actually don't need smoke bomb for Beppi the Clown because in the first stage you can just shoot the ducks and you'll be able to pass through them.

Man, for some damn reason I FREAKING LOST MY CONTROL in the baronesa von bon bon. Why? Because the difficulty of the fight depends on which minions you get. Basically RNG. But the last phase is so stupid just because of her ripping off her own head and growing another one, while chasing you with the other one. Very creative but was hard to pull of, even on a PS4. In my opinion, Djimmi the great is the easiest one, I freakin' beat his last phase first try!

If you wanna kill Grim Matchstick then have weapon A as the lob shot and have weapon B as roundabout. On the first stage equip roundabout since he isn't that low. Then on the next stage equip lob shot and simultaneously shoot him while dodging those dam fire balls. On the last stage use a speed run strategy by switching between roundabout and lob shot as fast as you can while shooting at him. For some reason this does a ton of damage and REMEMBER TO JUMP ON THE CLOUDS.

5. Wally Warbles Pretty simple fight, not too much going on and pretty enjoyable as well! 4. Baroness Not that bad, but not a fan of the RNG and the homing missile of a head while she still has LOADS of health left. 3. Beppi Easy with Roundabout and not too bad to learn the moves and stuff. I had to purposefully go into the last phase with 2 health just tank one hit from the penguins. 2. Djimmi Pretty easy to learn the patterns, but I died many times to the end. 1. Matchstick Self explanatory.
