I disagree. This is a malinformed and incredibly harmful reduction of the "modern" style of level in Geometry Dash. There are many differences between these two levels that make both of them unique, and there is so much more to the level "Cupid" than a theming centred on Valentine's Day. Let's delve into several of these: 1. *The song.* Firstly, whilst Acu by Neigefeu uses the Creo song "Epilogue", this level uses a song by the artist known as lexycat. Whilst Creo songs are classified as Dance/Electronic and are known for their unique mix of EDM and groovy saxophone, lexycat's music couldn't be more different! Lexycat produces DnB music with a focus on sampling and fast drum beats, producing a spectacularly different atmosphere to those found in Creo's music. 2. *Gameplay.* Whilst the gameplay in Acu is relatively standard for an Awesome Demon, Cupid utilises high cps clicks sync gameplay with wave bursts adding extra difficulty to this level. Many Geometry Dash players are reminded of the so-called "reta" levels such as Kowareta or Fragile, however the gameplay is also reminiscent of the "moment" style. This places it in an extremely unique position gameplay-wise and allows it to distance itself from its prequel, Acu. 3. *Decoration.* Finally, Acu is known as one of the first modern extremes, utilising bright, simple and colourful designs to convey the message of the level. Cupid, however, takes this to an extreme and opts to remove almost all of the structuring in the level. As such, many Geometry Dash players may even refer to it as a layout, and believe it should not have been rated. Proponents of this levels decoration, however, argue that the flowers, arrows and question marks give this level a lot of character and RobTop was justified in his decision to rate this level. In conclusion, while both Acu and Cupid may be described as Modern style, both have their unique and distinct aspects that set them apart from each other more so than their similarities bring them together.
