I can't explain how much I crave for living in a place with the atmosphere that this music creates in my mind. Just like, a cozy, little appartment with trees surrounding it in some rainy town, not a tiny village but not a big, stressful city either, with a huge window in my room with some kind of seat in the windowsill where I can just sit and spend hours reading with this special, dim light that only overcast skies are able to produce while having some tea and listening to the rain

To all of you suffering from a mental illness, You're not alone. I know you probably are searching the comment section for some nice words from strangers, because sometimes the people close don't know what to say. I too am suffering from crippling depression, and sometimes music just fills the hole where your heart is. Remember to hug yourself, and it seems pretty stupid, but trust me. Hugging yourself will make you feel loved, because no matter how much you or other people hate you, You gotta give yourself some love; You deserve it. Nothing I do can heal your heart, but Remember this: I'm a stranger. I love you. There is at least one person now that loves you. Smiling won't heal the pain, but it helps you savor the good things. You can't control your feelings; it's not your fault. 80% of the time, showing love lets you receive it. You deserve that love. There is nothing you can do to change my mind. Make sure your remembering that you deserve this love, so that you don't take your anger out on yourself. Self Harm is never a good alternative. If you are experiencing any of this, make sure to tell an authority figure. It may seem pointless, but hopefully they can get you some help. I love you, remember to stay safe. ❤

I picture myself in a cozy small apartment when the sun is shining with a big window that shines onto a cozy couch with snuggly blankets and plump pillows the tv of and the smell of sweet hot chocolate is blowing around the room with melting marshmallows bubbling in the mug. To everyone who's studying with this music: Checklist: • A bottle of water, at least 1liter. Your brain works better if it has enough water and drinking helps you to concentrate💧 • Your charger. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time🔋 • Your headphones. You will be able to focus more with headphones, because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late night study session, you won't wake up anyone🎧 • A tea or coffee. Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well.☕ • Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/phone, a few pens, paper or whatever you need.⌨ •Anything else you could need, what about a heating pad, a blanket, a good lamp, your pet so you have a study buddy 🐈 Reminder: After an hour, you should stand up and walk a bit around. Better stop the music or put on different music for the break. Open your window, even if it's cold outside. Fresh air will make it better, trust me. You could also lay your head down on your desk for ten minutes and listen to a podcast. Or, if you have to read a book, listen to the audiobook of it. You can also listen to the audiobook while doing another thing, that's even better than listening to music while reading the book. 📖 I hope y'all had a good day, if not, that's okay too. Just knowing there's actual, real people out there that care about others helps me. Especially when I've been surrounded by people lately that don't care about me or my wellbeing at all... its hard. But I know it will get better over time. I'm learned to be happy by myself, than sad/depressed with a group of people. Wow, this was the first lofi hip hop i ever fell asleep to, and damn now i listen to lofi on daily basis. Does it help me with my insomnia and anxiety? Yes. Do i love listening to it while being wrapped in a blanket and hugging my Jack the Pumpkin King plushie wholeheartedly? Absolutely. And the comments are just fascinating, so many kind people and so much support... From young age (elementary school), for 4.5 years i was being used (plus I KNEW i was being used but didn't do anything), mentally and sometimes even physically abused by my ex classmate who i considered my best friend because i was so afraid of being alone and becoming a white raven among black ones, and she used this fear of my for her own benefits and to make me do whatever she wants. She would always drag me into bullying the "nerds", forbid me from making any friends beside her, make me do worse during lessons on purpose so her grades would be higher than mine (she was good only at math, and i was good at english, russian, reading, art, so she said if i'll do some of her homework for her and let her be the first at everything, she'll do my math homework for me because i really suck at math...) henever i tried to say "no" to constant requests to hang out, come over to my house or her house, chat on the phone for like 3-4 hours or give her the snacks and drinks my parents bought for me she would either throw a tantrum or say shit like "i thought we were besties!", "Best friends never act like that, y'know?", "Oh i see now, you don't wanna be my best friend anymore." When my mom noticed that i'm having suicidal tendencies and self harm, i went homeschooling and mom said my ex classmate no more allowed at our house, for which i was very grateful. Eventually i ended our "friendship", which a big relief, but a lot of damage has been done. I am now 15, since my last conversation with her i managed to survive a suicide attempt, realized i've been suffering from a crippling depression and mild PTSD for this whole time, and fortunately started going to therapy, taking medicine and left school until i heal and will be able to study without risking taking my own life because of feeling extremely guilty a scared for every mistake. Fighting with yourself for your own life is sure very hard and exhausting, but i'm surrounded by loving family members and ACTUAL friends, who truly love me and always let me know that i'm not alone, and even if it feels like it's the end, there is still hope.

This music makes me feel so calm I always need this I come back to Lofi anytime im struggling with my mental health and this makes me feel so so much better no matter what I'm just so calm a few minutes ago I was literally crying my eyes out from school and now I feel like I could fall asleep on a cotton candy cloud, lofi to me feels like a calm candy store, a lollipop cart is in the middle of the room and has mostly bright colored lollis, the all taste amazing and a cute little bunny is sitting next to the cart with its own lollis. For a few months now, I've been in what I'm going to refer to as my "limbo state". I haven't been able to feel truly free from anything in a while honestly. I feel forgotten. Alone. Empty. I've been in some of the worst depressive episodes in my life over the past few weeks, and how many people have noticed? Two. Two people have asked me the question of "Am I ok?". The thing is, I can't give them an answer. Not because I don't have one, but because I don't think I can. I just don't know what to do anymore. So, the only machine that understands me, the KZbin algorithm, recommends me this video. The only place where I can feel comfortable being myself, and that's Lo-Fi. I'm trying not to turn this into a ramble into my brain, so let me end this quickly. Thank you, to the Lo-Fi community, for being the only place that I feel is willing to welcome me. Thank you for being the safe space that I need from my own mind. Thank you, for being the shoulder that I can cry on, since no one will lend me theirs.

To whoever’s going through something that feels never ending- A few days ago - my friend started playing with this girl- they became closer and closer- I started feeling like my bestie didnt like me anymore. She’s even going to the school trip with her! I felt like she was replacing me. The whole week, was full of crying - headaches, and a stomach ache *it’s what happens to me when I’m upset* I thought I lost my bestie- but then, yesterday, she told me she’d never leave me- and I cried with joy! I was so happy- The moral of this is that- sometimes it’s not what it seems. Sometimes, your brain is just thinking of the worst so often- that you think its happening right now! Give urself a break, calm down, don’t worry about the worst- just be happy with what’s good right now!
