Okay, my X5 M50d (F15) has a claimed speed of 250 as well, but can do 265km/h easily. 740Nm are doing something...

@@M3dicayne The decisive factor for the Vmax is the power that braces itself against the driving resistance, the torque is only one factor together with the speed in rpm. The N57D30S1 as M50d is not the best of its kind and is very tough on top; resolved according to P1 / v1³ = P2 / v2³, depending on the setting, it should drive real 249 to 253 without a limiter and under real normal conditions, which should then also result in a speedometer of 260-265. Most of the BMWs I have driven that have a 250 km/h limit did 258 at the speedometer, which was always a real 248 km/h with the scythe. The current 128ti with real 238 kmh is really cheeky. On the other hand, in my experiences with Audi and Opel, I have seen that they mostly drive a speedometer of 265-268 and actually limit it to a real 250.

@@Prince_Vegeta_BMW Depending on the wheels I drive (rolling circumference) and yeah, didn't want to state that (but I have to remind you that power and torque are related to each other), I get to 267 on the speedo, resulting in 260 GPS (smartphone). Can't complain. Also, the ZF 8HP is awesome.

Its not too uncommon behavior for stock DSG. This happens at a certain speed, gear and rpm where the tcu doesnt really now what to do so it downshifts and shifts up immediately. Usually in combination of using kickdown button. More or less any tcu tune from a reputable tuner will eliminate this effect. Downside is if the car is new u break warranty and the 8 year machine warranty from insurance company here in europe. At least where i live. I had a weird behavior on my S5 stock tune, if i did WOT at a certain speed and rpm, it sounded as the car did some sort of launch control sounding "brrprpprpprprpbprpp" during the downshifts. Almost shit my pants the first time i heard it.

The german Polizei doesn‘t need to check your violations, you are showing them by your own… such a dutch 😂😂😂. 1. you touch and focus on your phone while driving. 2. you drive way over 70/80 kmh on the exit lane and do it consiously. 3. you do not fully stop the car at a stop sign 4. you fully stop the vehicle on the Autobahn just to accelerate 0-100???
