Really like what you’ve done with this tree, all the limbs going down gives it so much more age. Question, should there be something done to the top of the jin? Seems way too large for a taper. BTW really like the tapered hole in the front of the tree...

Καλησπέρα Έλσα μπράβο καλή δουλειά!! Μια ερώτηση αν ξέρεις έχω αρχίσει και εγώ το άθλημα ετούτο !! Έχω φτιάξει ένα upright Κυπαρισσί απλά δεν ξέρω πόσο ήλιο θέλει και έχω λίγο φοβηθεί, να το αφήσω όλη μέρα στον ήλιο στην αυλή η να το βάλω στο μπαλκόνι στο οποίο δεν το χτυπά ο ήλιος ☀️ ? Did you keep this angle? Tree looks weak like it can fall over at any moment. Maybe longer branch should be to the left.

You have this feeling because it was the first step of this tree, so still immature. When new leader grows, branches gain desirable diameter, and all elements are set, there is more optical balance. Furthermore, first branch and top should always follow the direction of the tree. Otherwise you have a static tree.

Can Cupressus sempervirens be propagated by cuttings?

Yes, but personally I have never propagated cupressus as it can be found in abundance in nurseries, so no need for cuttings.

@@yogideshmukh Well, although a conifer, Cupressus is actually a mediterranean species, so it should be treated as such. It loves hot weather and lots of sun and thinking that temperatures here can arrive even at 45 (and several times even more) degrees Celsious in the summer, I would say it does pretty well. And for sure, it drinks a lot during this period.
