Very nice vid but you have missed a few steps: - using block-off plates on the bottom of the EGR and on the exhaust manifold - fill up with 2K epoxy the 2 breathing holes on the EGR (they are leaking all the time...) - put a steel bearing ball in the vacuum hoe before reconnecting with the EGR - use a new O-ring between the EGR and intake manifold +1: it's nice idea to remove the whole intake manifold, clean it as well and reassemble it with new gasket.

You are close, it is in the top 3, but the best was the 1.9 tdi 1Z in E.g Audi 80, i had one, sold with 600.000+ km 10 years ago and still running 🙂

Hi, is it possible that EGR valve can cause a car to just shut down while driving at low speed so I have to start again and to drop revolutions sometimes?

@@mustang1942 check your crankshaft sensor and your camshaft sensor. When crankshaft signal is lost, engine automaticly shut down. Have you any engine fault with an ODB reader ?

Noticed ya didnt remove ya rubber gaskets when using chemical solvents on the egr 🥺. Not sure if thats good for them 🧐 crakin vid tho bro 👊🏻

Thanks for your comment, actually it's not really a chemical solvent, it's just a light cleaning solution that's not affecting the rubber 😉

What is, or why oil is leaking from those small air vent holes under that vacuum silver element? Blocked or damaged or old egr valve? I got audi a4 b6 1.9 tdi 74kw engine?

Hey, I have a 1.9tdi 96kw. A minor oil leak is always possible and not terrible (usually caused by just having an old EGR). A larger leak is usually associated to a broken unit though
