Put those leather jackets outside for a couple days. I think that works wonders for “clean” things that still have a bit of a smell. Worth a try!
@staceysteel13 сағат бұрын
Try using cheap vodka in a spray bottle, to freshen up the inside of leather jackets! You can google how to do it: takes out the stink of older leather jackets! Love your videos ❤

Just found you and watching Bins videos is somehow soothing. You explain things very well.

A shoe cobbler might be worth a try when you come across shoes that are damaged. Really enjoy the cool finds, my outlet never seems to produce the designer items.

Good for you. I think you are smart, spend the time and you do the work to resell? No judgement here. I love watching.

sooo many great finds! Do you prefer going to this bins when they first open or midday/evening?
@CuratedbyNatalie17 сағат бұрын
Honestly, I prefer to go whenever I have a good chunk of time. I like to thoroughly go through everything without feeling rushed, so I base it more on my availability rather than a specific time.

I enjoy your videos a lot. Especially since i like your style and I have the same body shape as you. I get a lot of inspiration. You are really good at styling the items. Thank you for that. I also like that you don't buy everything in sight. One thing that I think is faulty in the profit formula when it comes to thrifters is the time. I enjoy thrifting and finding good quality items but it takes TIME. I don't think it's an easily profitable business option. For most part of the country, these "finds" are not realistic. So you will spend a lot of time and time is $$. So that has to be factored in.
@CuratedbyNatalie17 сағат бұрын
First off thank you!! I love doing styling content 🫶 I totally understand. There is a lot of time involved. Not only in finding the items but also cleaning, photographing, listing, storing, shipping etc… It’s a lot! I try my best to make it worth it by focusing on quality items that have good sell through rates. Then doing things in batches to make the process more efficient. Along with using services like Primelister to automate some of the repetitive but necessary time consuming tasks needed to make sales. That said it’s why a lot of secondhand businesses struggle even large scale operations like ThredUp it’s extremely hard to scale. I’ve read so many articles on it. It’s such an interesting topic to read / talk about.

I have never been to a Goodwill bins store and my question is Do they put small sizes in one bin and med sizes in one bin and so on or is it all thrown together as far as sizes go.
@CuratedbyNatalie9 сағат бұрын
@@dorisbarker3273 it is a cluster! Generally clothes are with clothes BUT everything gets mixed so there will be baby clothes, women’s, men’s all in one bin.

It's people like you who buy to resell that have put prices up in thrift stores.
@CuratedbyNatalie8 сағат бұрын
I’m assuming from your comment that you did not watch the video. Please refer to 4:40 in the video. There is genuinely so much STUFF in existence especially in major metropolitan areas. They have more than they can handle. Prices have not gone up due to reselling. Increased thrift store prices is an interesting subject I’d love to dive into.

I know mother jeans are expensive, but they suck. I had one pair, wore them once and they ripped in 2 places... every time i see them they are damaged!
@CuratedbyNatalie16 сағат бұрын
Honestly, now that you say that I think about how many damaged mother jeans I’ve come across. You would think they’d last forever at that price.
