Ruth, please do a productx video part 2. Lets say inflation rates from different countries in the same column. How would proceed to multiply them with productx? And different starting points. That would be a real challenge:-). Anyway I love your videos and the way you teach. The queso cabrales ad😂 made me laugh.

I'm speaking for the 118k subscribers here... Please bring back DAX Fridays.. If there's ~300 total DAX measures and you have 235 videos, that leaves 60ish functions left lol.. Just Kidding.. I'm a paid subscriber btw :)

Hello Ruth , nice work : how we can define a Row number in my table visual and note that used fields are not in the same table model . Example : my table visual called sales analysis showing 45000 rows, contains 3 fields customer(customerName) / DimDate(Date) / fact(SalesAmount) , i need to add a row number that shows all the row id from 1 to 45000

The measure 'Day 2' may not work as expected in case there is a tie. The blank value may be returned. To avoid the issue I’d rather use MINX/MAXX instead of SELECTEDVALUE.

Would minx maxx work as text field? Could try this day2_index = CALCULATE ( SELECTEDVALUE ( Products[ProductName], CONCATENATEX ( Products, SELECTEDVALUE ( Products[ProductName] ), "," ) ), INDEX ( 1, ALLSELECTED ( Products[ProductName] ), ORDERBY ( [Unit Price], DESC ) ) )

Sorry it's a bit unrelated but I heard that we can edit the data model, create relationships, modify DAX in Power BI service. I believe there's a related video coming up soon? I'm so hoping we can also "Get Data" from there which would save me tons of trouble having to login RDP, remote servers....

You can't pull in new data or do transformations, but can edit relationships and create/update measures

Thank a lot. But each time I try INDEX functions, it gives "INDEX's relation parameter may have duplicate rows.This is not allowed" error. What could be the reason of that error ? I checked but there is no duplicated rows in my table.
