The frayed underwear is hilarious. I left my first and only chiropractor for the exact opposite reason. This guy wore a different set of alligator-skin shoes (boots?) every session. Brown, green, even purple! How did I know? Because I had to stick my head thru the hole in the table while he adjusted my back so every week I knew it was a different pair. I figured if my chiropractor could afford 12 pairs of nice shoes, he’s doing better than me. I can’t go to a chiropractor who’s doing better than me. Personal rule. I mean, he’s not even a doctor.

For those curious about a "Jew for Jesus" theologically speaking, according to the New Testament in the Bible Jews are completely allowed to keep practicing their Hebrew law and traditions even after accepting Christ as the Son of God. Likewise gentiles who come to Jesus are not obligated to observe Jewish law and customs, although in theory they would be allowed to if they wanted. The focus after accepting Christ is on his life death and resurrection being the only salvation from evil and death. If a Jew practices the Torah's teachings knowing they point to Jesus that is Biblically valid according to Christian doctrine.
@Bentwood5-qr2iy Жыл бұрын
Jews are allowed to do just about anything and still be considered Jewish. Even an atheist Jew is still a Jew. However, in the minds of most Jews, a "Jew for Jesus", or Messianic Jew, is ridiculed in the Jewish faith. It isn't because Jews don't respect Christians. We have contempt for the Messianic Jew. If you believe in "Christ" you are a Christian, by definition. Just become a Christian. Jews do not believe that Christ is the Messiah. Everybody knows that. It is fine to be Christian and it is fine to be Jewish. You just cannot be both in the minds of many. Just pick a side.
