Recently started my first job since finishing University in July. It pays decent, the days are fast and my colleagues are great. This is all after being hospitalised last year from my physical health, malnutrition and depression. The only reason I think things changed is because I started doing the things I wished I could do in good health. I ran, trained, studied, ate and dressed how I felt my best version would. And I slowly started morphing from my broken, depressed self into someone better. And it all became habit once I decided that I was merely doing what I deserved. I’ve found one thing to be extremely helpful when it comes to those nervous moments when an opportunity arises to step out on faith. As silly as it may sound, I’ve found that just saying yes, or just putting the body in motion has helped me through those moments when my mind tries to come up with a thousand reasons why I should just have an excuse not to. Turns out that as you put yourself in a situation where there are no other options, you end up seeing the good in it all, and truly open yourself up to what this universe has in store for you. Gravemind, I have followed you for quite sometime and its as if the universe/you releases these videos when I need them most. I recently started jiu jitsu and two months in suffered a minor meniscus tear. Six weeks later its still not 100% but I am back into training and doing what I can. I have 20$ left in my pocket and I have no job or anyone that is willing to help, Got in a fight with my family and they have turned their backs on me, I agree I messed up but we all make mistakes, my family never gave me a chance to redeem myself yet all they do is scream for me to change, I don’t know if I’ll eat tomorrow but I am still going to the gym everyday even if I’m starving, tomorrow I am going to wake up and try my hardest to make money.
