I am so proud to be a Muslim Man, I've only begun my journey, i came into Islam an addict, suffering from what doctors deemed mental illness, but I knew it was because I said my shadadha but I was not praying, nor was I living by the five pillars, the moment I trusted the Quran, the moment I knew the ,messages of isha peace be upon him, and Muhammed peace be upon him, I finally found peace of mind and heart, no longer poisoning myself, no longer believing the gins that surrounded me which caused my ptsd, depression, and anxiety to go away, praise to Allah I love all my brothers and sisters in Islam

Newer to Islam mainly learning on my own. 5 years every day at minimum five times a day plus extra salat. Granted my life has always had difficulty but this last five years has been almost unbearable, what am i doing wrong?

You are not necessarily doing anything wrong. Perhaps this is a test for you and a way to grant you higher levels of imaan and jannah. Listen to other videos of this Abu Bakr Zoud if you are not already. Masha Allah this sheikh is one of the few upon true islam and teaches about tawheed more than others.

Keep going after hardship there is relief, my family were against me when i wanted to wear my hijab, but i'd carried on wearing it. I had my hijab pulled off my head, after ten years they excepted me with my hijab.
