Quite comprehensive tour--seriously, I feel as though I'd had the grand tour. Thank you for this!

Great info here really enjoyed that. Just for the record from a person born looking up at Mow cop castle (26:17) Mow is pronounced "Mao" as in Mao Tse Tung.

A very interesting piece of work. Really enjoyed it. There must be loads more stories and traditions hiding in the vaults.

This was a lovely video. It's Mow, as in Cow. Narrator sounds slightly like Rodney Bewes! No Molly Leigh tho.

I suspect many people will not be aware of just how large and how diverse a county Staffordshire was, before the 1974 Boundary Changes, that created the former West Midlands County.

Staffordshire is the home roots of my immediate maternal family, the Dardens. I hope to travel there someday and meet my English cuzes and invite them to my home in Monroe and Lamar Counties in Georgia USA.

As an old canal boat man I get fed up hearing the wrong statement that the railways killed the canals ….check the tonnage carried on the BCN alone for 1950 you will be surprised. The motorways and container ships killed our trade …..true end 1970.

And in the 21st century all this will vanish forever.
